We’ve got a few more quietly satisfying upgrades to transaction entry this week! Inflows that import to checking, savings, or cash accounts already default to Ready to Assign. Now manually entered transactions will, too! We made the animation clearer so that when you record credit spending, the movement of money  from your spending category to your Credit Card Payment category is even clearer.  And splits in the new transaction editor got a little less fiddly: you can now add a transfer leg to a split with just one category, so things like a grocery run with a little cash back no longer need a throwaway placeholder.

We’re greasing the gears on processing transactions! Now, when either side of a transfer is approved, we'll auto-approve the counterpart, regardless of whether it's cleared. New imported inflow transactions will default to the Ready to Assign category if they import into a checking, savings, or cash account. And you can swipe to remove a category from a split transaction. Less friction, more flow—your transactions running like clockwork.

You asked and now it's here! You can now add photos to your transactions. Snap a pic and attach it to the transaction so you always know where it is. Want to celebrate fully funding summer camp before you had to pay for it? Toss a photo of the kids on the transaction when you drop them off. Whether it's something important to keep track of or a moment worth celebrating, it's all right there in your plan.

For those just beginning to get good at money,  the Income vs. Spending insight in the Reflect tab will now pull in up to three months of spending history, so you can see the full picture from day one.

Turns out, “CHK...4821” doesn’t exactly stand out in a lineup. Linked accounts now show their institution’s logo when available, so you can identify the account you’re looking for instantly. And if you’re starting your plan in overdraft, you’ll now see guidance to help you climb out, right when and where you need it.

What’s new in 26.9 We’ve squashed some bugs and made a few improvements to make it easier than ever to get good with money. Here’s what changed: • Pinning categories now includes a search option. Selected categories move to the top of the list as you go, making review quick and easy. • VoiceOver now reads account totals once (as it should) and works more smoothly with on/off controls like Cleared and Uncleared.

When your bank connection needs reauthorization, you’ll now see it right in the Home tab—so nothing slows you down. We also gave some Home tab icons a little polish and tidied up the Reflect and Edit Plan screens on iPad so everything feels cleaner and easier to read.

The new Income vs. Spending insight in the Reflect tab shows you at a glance. With a simple bar chart of the last six months, you can see when you spent more, less, or right in line with what you brought in. No math, no guesswork.
