Introducing the Acaia Updater The Acaia Updater app combines the Pearl Model S, Lunar, Orion, Cinco, Pyxis, Orion, Orbit and Ion Beam updaters through one seamless interface. The original Pearl Updater will be kept online as the Pearl scale connection is different from that of the Lunar and other models. We will update both apps as we release new firmware updates. The Acaia Updater app will display and download all current firmware and information for the above models, including firmware version and release notes. The app itself is ok and does the advertised job. However, an explainer that I can choose from different versions of the same update would have helped. But the most egregious problem is simply the fact that you can not change the settings of your Acaia scale. I now need to download other Acaia apps that have this functionality and even then I can’t access all of the scales options. Only on the scale itself is this possible. For a scale at this price point I find this unacceptable. I also find the options for the scale itself lacking when compared to the competition.
