This app requires some hardware to work: - OBDLink MX+ bluetooth adapter, or S3XY Commander - An adapter cable between the OBDLink and your car Information and links are integrated in the app (Welcome pages) and in our home page, scanmytesla.com This app connects to your car's CAN-bus, and can read lots of interesting and entertaining information such as temperatures, motor torque, battery power and capacity, and much much more. Funciona bien, pero ojo con el obd que compras, el OBDLink Mx+ es apuesta segura si usas ios. Como puntos negativos podría incluir soporte a otros idiomas que no sea el inglés

Only works with Expensive BT

Only works with a expensive BT, you say that is iOS problem, but is not true, I have another app and works with Carista, Lelink... The problem is that you are using library to force buy this OBD.

I went into this project thinking that Apple users want the best, they already have expensive hardware, and they want smooth, fast, good-looking apps.An ELM327 adapters (I have tested 15 or 20 different brands) are so slow, they give between 1-10 fps in the performance dashboards, unplottable logs and poor 0-100 km/h timing accuracy, whereas an OBDLINK can maintain 60 (or even 100) fps in every dashboard, sub 1/10 second timing accuracy, and can make logs of something like 50 100hz signals simultaneously without missing a single data point. This is the reason I went for OBDLINK devices first. I did not realize at the time that the MX+ is almost 3 times the price of the LX, which is exactly the same device (for our use), only with Apple's MFI approval on top, because Apple does not allow any apps to use any Bluetooth Classic devices without the MFI approval. And that my friend, is an Apple problem.It also turned out at app launch, MX+ was sold out all over the world, that did not help.The ELMs work great for battery and temperature parameters however, and I plan to implement support for these in the future, even if the dashboards and logs will be very slow.
