wBlock: Ad Blocker for Safari

Utilidades

Gratis

wBlock is a free, open-source ad blocker for Safari on Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro. Block ads and trackers with up to 750,000 Safari content-blocking rules. No subscription or in-app purchases. Safari ad blocking Choose recommended filter lists or add your own by URL, text, or file. Regional lists cover websites in your language. Optional filters handle cookie banners and other annoyances. Lists update automatically, and you can inspect the rules each list produces. Userscripts and userstyles Run built-in scripts such as AdGuard Extra and Dark Reader, or import your own userscripts. UserCSS themes support plain CSS and USO, along with Less and Stylus. Return YouTube Dislike is available in the catalog. Native video controls Optional Tube Cleaner and Player Cleaner bring Safari's native video controls to supported players, with Picture-in-Picture and background audio. Tube Cleaner includes SponsorBlock settings for YouTube. DeArrow is available separately for alternative titles and thumbnails. Control each website Turn filtering or userscripts off for a site from Safari's toolbar popup. Use the Element Zapper to hide an unwanted overlay. Limit individual lists to selected websites or exclude sites, including domain patterns such as amazon.*. Pause blocking when you need to. Privacy settings Tracking-parameter removal cleans supported links. Opt in to Global Privacy Control to send websites your privacy preference. An optional toolbar count shows supported blocked requests; it is not a complete count of everything Safari blocks. iCloud sync and backups Sync filter lists and settings across your devices, including custom filters and userscripts. Export a local backup when you want one. On Mac, scheduled filter updates can run while the app is closed. Free and open source wBlock collects no data and requires no account. Its GPL-3.0 source code is available on GitHub. All features are free.

Privacy & site controls • Added opt-in Global Privacy Control, synced through iCloud and included in backup exports. • Added an optional blocked-request count on Safari's toolbar icon. It is off by default and does not count every request blocked by Safari's content blockers. • Site fields accept patterns such as amazon.*. Cosmetic filtering can use selected sites or excluded sites without losing either list. Sync & storage • Stale devices no longer overwrite newer iCloud changes. • Element Zapper rules added on two devices for the same site are preserved together. • Regenerable filter caches and compiled rules are excluded from device backups while custom sources and settings are retained. • Dark Reader's system-appearance setting is included in backup exports. • Regional filter order syncs across devices. Blocking & updates • Fixed AdGuard Popup Blocker so it can intercept popups again. • Moved the built-in ad and tracking hosts into a separately updateable filter list. • Update checks detect fresh userscript pushes without offering older mirror copies or unchanged lists as updates. • Improved Apply progress and No Updates Found results, including pull-to-refresh. • Filter edits wait for Apply instead of rebuilding on their own. Upgrade rebuilds and site changes made from Safari still apply automatically. • Filter versions refresh after automatic updates without relaunching. Imports & editor • Find is now Browse, with fewer duplicate catalog results and restored URL text when going back. • Adding an existing userscript URL shows a duplicate warning. The Userscripts tab has its Update/Apply button again. • Source wraps by default, with filter-specific syntax highlighting and better light-mode contrast. • Rule Capacity uses colors by rule type. Rule counts are in the source viewer's View menu. • Less errors point to the right line. Sass, SCSS and PostCSS styles must be compiled to CSS before importing. Plain CSS and USO remain supported, along with Less and Stylus. Interface & reliability • Refined platform-native Settings layouts and toolbars, with menu-bar commands on Mac and iPad. • Added Mac keyboard scrolling and Command-[ navigation. • Reduced Mac list layout work and fixed a tab-switch crash and drag-related list jumps. • Improved iOS dark-mode contrast and sheet layouts. Popup load errors show their reason. • Updated Turkish translations.
