Alphabetical by romaji

Colour that helps you remember
Each word gets colour-coded based on its kana or mora count. Over time, those colours become visual cues. You'll start associating purple with 3-kana words, or red with 5-mora words, and so on. It sounds simple, but it works. Your brain loves patterns.
