This update improves audio session handling, playback controls and seeking, chapter navigation, and app reliability. It also adds illustrated listening tips and improves saved reading and passage explanations.

Every book in the library is now free to read. FREE READING — Open a book and read it start to finish. No account or subscription required. New library books arrive free too. MEMBERSHIP AND TITLE UNLOCKS — Choose membership for narrated audio, commentary, reading tools, every lesson, and Guide chat and voice. Or pay once to unlock one book’s tools or an individual lesson. A title unlock does not include Guide chat or voice. YOUR READING — Find saved passages, highlights, notes and listening moments organized by book. Add personal reflections and browse your saves by chapter. LISTENING — More narrated books, named narrator choices and updated playback controls. THE GUIDE — Sophia is now simply the Guide: the same reading companion, with a clearer name. ALSO — Improved onboarding, clearer purchase choices and reader refinements.

Audio, Distilled, and the threads between the books. NARRATION — A new reading voice across the library, and hundreds of hours of newly narrated books. Many titles that had no audio now have it. DISTILLED — 262 books distilled into short card stacks, about seven minutes each. The player now swipes up, and Distilled has a place on Home. ECHOES — Passages that answer each other across traditions are marked in the margin. Tap one to read the parallel in its own book. CONCEPTS — The concept index is now a proper glossary: one continuous column, grouped by theme, naming the books each idea converges on. SOPHIA — Voice conversations are no longer limited by weekly minutes. ALSO — "Catch me up" recaps when you return to a book, journal recaps, and haptics settings. A failed payment no longer closes the library while it is being sorted out. LARGE TEXT — If you read at a large system text size, the app now holds its shape: buttons stay tappable, titles and prices are no longer cut off, and long screens scroll instead of running off the edge. FIXES — "Read it in context" from an Echo now works, the "Previously in…" card keeps its button on screen, and rotating your phone no longer breaks a deck.
