Partida starts at one chess bar in Barcelona. It is for the problem that keeps people at
home: not knowing whether anyone will be there to play.
Say which hours you are coming — "Wednesday, 21:00 to 23:00". See the faces of everyone
whose hours overlap yours. Turn up knowing there is a game.
TONIGHT, AT A GLANCE
Who is in the bar right now, and who is still on their way. One tap offers any of them a
game. If nobody is coming tonight, the app shows you which nights this week are busy
instead — an empty room is never the last word.
THE WEEK AHEAD
Every night of the week, hour by hour, with the faces and the events in it. Scan it, pick
your hours, done.
EVENTS AT THE BAR
Open mics, chess nights, chess speed dating. Take a free ticket in one tap, see who else is
going, and show your ticket at the door
OFFER A GAME IN ONE TAP
No chat. You offer, they say yes, you meet at the board. Not sure you can make it? Say
Maybe — it firms up by itself when someone accepts.
PLAY AGAIN
After a game, say "good game". The people you have played become the people you can invite
directly next time: "coming Wednesday, I'm there."
HONEST BY DESIGN
An hour before your hours start, the app asks whether you are still coming. Anyone who was
asked and has not answered is marked, so you can see who is sure. Nobody is scored, ranked
or punished for a change of plan — the app only wants tonight's list to be true.

Also new:
• Tonight shows only what's still ahead: hours that have passed and people who have already left drop off.
• Faster everywhere: faces load quicker and the app opens without waiting.
• Blocked someone by mistake? Their profile now has Unblock.
