- Corrections a publisher makes to an episode in the week after release, such as chapters, transcripts and titles, now reach the app on the next refresh. Before, only new episodes were read.
- Refreshing a podcast with a very long back catalogue is much faster.
- Playback that stopped because the system's audio service restarted now resumes on its own, also with the app in the background and when the service takes a while to come back. Before, it could give up after a few seconds and show an error.
- iCloud sync of listening positions is faster on large libraries, and episodes with a very long identifier are no longer skipped in silence.
- After the connection came back, each listening-position update was sent to iCloud twice; it is now sent once.
- Applying a playlist order received from iCloud, and scanning files added through iCloud Drive, take less time.
