I don't understand. I had purchased the classic version for life. They're forcing me to upgrade, and now I have to buy the version again? Is this legal? If they're selling me something for life, I understand that's how it should be. I hope the developer does something about it! It's not fair.Your reviews are really bad about customer service. The Classic app may not have worked as effectively, but it worked fine. The idea of disregarding users who bought something for life is a big deal. When you decide to make the switch for whatever reason, unilaterally, no, it's not commercially epic. Want to make a new app? Great! Do it, but keep users on the old one and convince them to switch to the new one with a little extra. Don't cancel their purchase completely. I hope you find many new customers who are happy with this way of operating.

You purchased an upgrade for an app that has been retired. Is it legal for us to make a new app that has an actual lifetime license and charge for it? Yes. We gave out thousands of free codes and discounts classic users. Leaving a 1 star review isn't the way to ask for a free code though. Best of luck on your search for a new client.
No license

The app lost its license with the latest update (04/25) and can't be used. It doesn't even work after reinstalling.

This was an issue with Apple's API being broken for like 10 minutes, not an issue with Igloo.

-I have purchased the pro version of Igloo Classic, and now they are forcing me to pay again for this version, eliminating the Classic and preventing me from continuing to use it. Isn't this theft?
Respuesta del desarrollador
The classic was only preserved during the transition to the new app. Both apps require server side API's and push notification servers to work. Regardless of the new app existing or not, the classic version was going to be shut down and would no longer function without the server side. Be happy that months of time was put into making the new app otherwise you'd have to use some other junk app for IRC that barely functions or hasn't been updated in 8 years.
Works like magic

5 stars!
• Fixed an issue with buffextras parsing
