… me gustaria que asociase la dirección del Adaptador a un nombre de dispositivo para que cuando escanees tu red para ver si tienes “gente” metida dentro se puedan saber los dispositivos que hay conectados a quien pertenecen.Por lo demás funciona sin problemas.

Tiene dos utilidades. Por una lado una interface clásica de ventana con la que puedes obtener información de tu conexión y hacer ping, whois, etc, de cualquier dirección IP. Por otro lado, lo más interesante, es un widget para el Centro de Notificaciones de OSX, que ofrece todos los datos de tu conexión (IP pública, mac address, etc) y el volumen de datos que se está transmitiendo en ese momento y el total de la sesión.En mi opinión le falta una característica que no tiene ninguna otra app pero que consideraría muy útil. Debería incorporar un scanner de puertos, que nos avisara de qué puertos aparecen abiertos y accesibles desde el exterior y, por tanto, susceptibles de ataques por parte de extraños.
