New: labels. Give your servers as many free-form labels as you like, across folders, and find them again from the search field. New: your own colours. Set the accent, the connection indicator and the warning colour to whatever you want — with a preview, one step back, and a way home to the original. Under "More" → "Appearance". New: a report after transfers. Once a download or upload finishes, ShellDiver can show what went where and how long it took. Switch it off under "More". New: jump host and startup command now appear in the connection window itself, instead of only in the server's settings. Fixed: saving a server moved it to the bottom of its folder. A local port that is already taken now names the forwarding rule holding it.

This release brings the vault: a way to sync that needs neither iCloud nor an Apple ID. The vault • Servers, folders, snippets, port forwards and known host keys sit encrypted in a storage location you choose yourself: a USB stick, a cloud folder or your own WebDAV server. • Unlike the iCloud route, the secrets travel too: saved server passwords and private keys. • Only your devices encrypt and decrypt. Whoever runs the storage location sees nothing but unreadable files. • You add a second device with a QR code or a code you type in. It never asks for your passphrase. • During setup you get an emergency sheet with a recovery code to keep. • If a device goes missing, "Change key" locks it out. • iCloud and the vault never run at the same time. Setting up the vault switches iCloud off. Sync & backup • All of it now sits on one screen under "More", and on the Mac in a tab of its own in Settings. Files • Multiple selection. On the Mac a click selects, Shift and Command extend, dragging takes in whatever you sweep over, a double click opens. On iPhone and iPad, "Select" at the top right. • Save or delete several items at once. • Transfers in progress can be cancelled. • Deleting now asks first. A full swipe used to delete on the spot. Security • The SSH library now includes all seven security fixes published since its last release. • Fixed: a server directory with a doctored entry could write outside the chosen destination folder while saving. • Fixed: "Save" could upload the selected destination folder to the server instead of downloading from it. • Fixed: when a server reported no permissions for an entry, that entry inherited the permissions of the one before it. Deleting could then clear out a folder where it should only have removed a link. • Fixed: after a failed folder change the list kept showing the old folder while actions landed in the new one.
