WHY YAPRUN EXISTS:
most voice typing tools send your audio to the cloud. that means:
• someone else's server processes your voice
• your data exists on infrastructure you don't control
• you need internet to use it
• there's latency
YapRun flips all of that. the AI runs locally using Apple's Neural Engine (or CPU if you prefer). no internet required after the initial model download. no latency from round-tripping to a server. no privacy concerns.
we built this because we genuinely believe your voice data is nobody's business but yours.

SETUP TAKES 2 MINUTES:
1. open YapRun
2. allow microphone access
3. add YapRun keyboard in Settings → General → Keyboards
4. enable Full Access (required for the keyboard to work across apps)
5. download a voice model (one-time, ~70-134 MB)
6. start yapping
Full Access is needed so the keyboard extension can communicate with the main app to activate the microphone. we don't use it to collect any data. ever.
