10/10, would sink into suicidal thoughts again
Started my life as a young aspirant, working at the docks for some cash whilst training my strenght, and occasionally dabbling as an amateur painter to fuel my passion… until a strange bequest arrived with some occult knowledge… and that started my downfall.
Soon I was obsessed with the occult, spending all my money on weird old books, meeting strange people and then starting a cult. To finance the cult’s activities, I took a better paid position as a clerck, until my new boss turned out to be an asshole, finally pissing me of so much that I sent one of my minions to murder him. The police did find the corpse, but couldn’t lay the blame on me.
Thus my position secured, I dwelved deeper and deeper into occult secrets, with my sanity gradually cracking… and I was barely keeping my hallucinations in check… and my depression and despair gradually worsened until the opium that I used to get some sleep and contentment finally wasn’t enough, and I slunk into the deepest pits of despair - never to emerge back to life again.
