Laskutulkki turns a Finnish invoice into a payment barcode your banking app reads. Share an invoice — a PDF, a photo or a screenshot — and get the 54-digit virtual barcode on your clipboard. Paste it into your bank app and pay. Not a single number typed by hand. How it works: 1. Open the invoice in Mail or Photos, tap Share and choose Laskutulkki. 2. The app reads the account number (IBAN), reference number, amount and due date and builds the virtual barcode from them. 3. Paste the barcode into your bank app, check the payment and approve it. Done. Laskutulkki does not guess. It hands over a payment-ready barcode only once the account number passes its mod-97 check and the reference number matches its check digit. Otherwise it shows what it read and asks you to check the fields against the invoice before paying — it never presents a guess as a correct value. Next to every field you see whether it has been checked or whether you must check it against the invoice. The payee is confirmed, never guessed. The app shows the name the invoice itself states, or a name you confirmed earlier — or no name at all if neither exists. When you confirm a payee name, the app remembers it for that biller. Keep your invoices in order. The To pay view lists open invoices by due date. Mark an invoice paid with one tap or select several at once — and undo if needed. Open the original invoice, zoom in and see where each value was read, and search invoices by their text. Tags and tax. Tag invoices with your own tags, for example kotitalousvähennys (the Finnish household deduction), and record the work portion. The Paid view totals by tax year, and you can export invoices as CSV. Laskutulkki gives no tax advice — check the conditions of the deduction with the Finnish Tax Administration. Optional iCloud Drive. You can archive an invoice's PDF to your own iCloud Drive per payee and back up your data. Both are off by default. What Laskutulkki does not do: - It does not pay the invoice for you and has no connection to your bank. You pay in your own banking app. - It does not guarantee a payment is correct — it helps you check, and you pay. - It never marks an invoice paid on its own. That is your action. - It is not bookkeeping software. Privacy. Laskutulkki collects no data and does not track you. Invoices are processed on your device, and the original invoice stays on your device until you mark it paid — unless you choose iCloud Drive archiving. The app uses the network in only two cases, both started by you: when you tap, it looks up the name registered for the business ID (Y-tunnus) printed on the invoice in the EU VAT register (only the business ID is sent); and only if you enter your own TypeSafe API key in Settings, it can ask for help interpreting the text of an invoice without a barcode — after an exact description of what is sent. Without a key there is no network use. Laskutulkki is made for Finnish invoices. The interface is in Finnish, Swedish and English.
