New for Norway: Hiking routes shows registered trails as red-and-white striped lines on your map. Tap a trail to view route details, including difficulty, marking and signposting when available. The new layer is available with Lokimaps PRO.

Location sharing updates more reliably after connection interruptions and while recording a track in the background. Feedback reports can now include more technical details to help us investigate problems. You can turn this option off before sending.

Imported GPX routes now preserve elevation data.

- Navigation has been redesigned. Preview your journey, follow a planned route or a saved route or track, and see remaining distance and off-route guidance as you move. - See your next stretch on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island with a live route sketch or direction indicator. Navigation can keep updating in the background. - Optional iCloud sync now keeps bookmarks, folders, saved routes, and completed tracks up to date across devices using the same Apple Account. Turn it on in Settings > Bookmarks on each device. No PRO subscription is needed. - Deleted bookmarks, routes, and tracks can now be restored from Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Maastokartta is back, this time properly rebuilt. This update took a while, and we're sorry for the wait. The app has been rebuilt in large part: the familiar maps and tools are still here, but the experience is now clearer and faster on modern devices.
