Versions — a new app that finds songs which live in more than one of your bands but have drifted apart, and lets you compare and sync them in a tap. Rehearsal set — the new "Recently added" list gathers songs to practice; mark them learned as you go, and add songs straight from the song list. Customizable toolbar — on iPhone, choose which quick buttons sit atop the song list. Photos now save straight to your Photos library. Plus smaller fixes and refinements.

This update focuses on Strofa Display reliability plus a few smaller fixes: - Strofa Display: the screen's IP address now shows reliably in the screen list. - Strofa Display: the screen list now shows platform and version per screen, with a notice when an update is available. - Strofa Display: new optional location field to tell apart screens with the same name (e.g. "Stage", "Bar"). - Strofa Display: pull-to-refresh added to the screen list. - The "Played tonight" widget now has its own heading size control, separate from the song text size. - Fixed the tempo (BPM) field wrapping to two lines or getting clipped for three-digit values. - Fixed the Circle of Fifths icon not responding on iPhone. - Various stability fixes.

- Two extra camera slots for Strofa Display, alongside the main camera - New: 50/50 split camera background, showing two cameras side by side - Camera on/off is now unified in one button on the Strofa Display screen - More reliable IP camera (ONVIF) connections - Various fixes for Strofa Display layouts and the pause quiz card

NEW: Pause Quiz Turn your set break into a live music trivia round, right on your Strofa Display screen. Start it from the Pause button - the audience joins in seconds by scanning the same QR code they already use for song requests, no app required. Everyone answers on their own phone with four colored options that match the big screen exactly. A live leaderboard tracks the top 3 players after every question, and a podium ceremony crowns the winner when you end the round. New players can jump in anytime, even mid-quiz. You control how many questions, how long each one runs, and how long the answer stays on screen - all from one settings screen. Also in this update: - Strofa Display background photos are simpler now: one photo per layout, just tap to choose. - Display layouts are correctly scoped per band, with a default layout that switches automatically when you change bands on a shared screen.

Fixed the chord keyboard in Edit Song not always showing every chord on narrower screens — you can now scroll through the full row, and major/minor chords move together. Fixed a text layout issue with the section buttons (Start/End/Note/Chords) in the song editor. Small spacing polish to the icons in the song view toolbar. Song version history now backs up to the cloud, surviving a device change or reinstall — not just stored locally like before.

PraiseCharts: log in with your own PraiseCharts account and import chord charts you have access to, complete with key, tempo and CCLI number. Public artist page: the repertoire now shows a preview of your most-played songs before visitors search, the Photos section can be turned off if you don’t want it, and the Modern theme has been polished throughout. The song view’s music menu now correctly shows Apple Music or Spotify depending on which service is actually linked. Fixed a rare sync issue that could keep some songs from downloading to a device, and a missing clear button in the song search field.

- Import screen reorganized into clear sections. - Song list can switch between normal and compact view. - Strofa Photo: new option to auto-start a session when a gig begins. - Welcome screen now has buttons to add a song or try demo songs. - Fixed ink drawings occasionally drifting or not syncing correctly. - Fixed a rare crash switching songs on iPad split view. - Fixed the keyboard covering form fields in a few places. - Various smaller fixes and polish.

CONTRACTS - Set the fee in NOK, SEK, DKK, EUR, GBP or USD - Editable VAT rate and a new country field for the organiser - Sequential contract numbers and a full lifecycle: signed contracts are locked, sent ones can be withdrawn, expired ones duplicated - Band members can see the signed contract PDF in the calendar — the contract itself stays private - The signing flow follows the contract's language throughout, in all five app languages DESIGN - All icons redrawn as strokes that follow the colour around them — sharper and consistent - Text on tinted buttons is now ink-coloured, making selected states easier to read - The sync cloud shows live status: green, syncing arrow, or red the moment the connection drops FIXES - A zoomed PDF no longer jumps to the wrong place when switching songs - Untranslated text cleaned up across the app SPOTIFY PLAYLISTS - Turn any setlist into a Spotify playlist: tap the Spotify logo on a setlist, approve your account once, and the playlist is created with the songs in order - Tap again after changes and the playlist updates - removed songs disappear, new ones are added - Songs without a link are looked up automatically; anything not found is listed so you know SONG LIST - Songs with a music link show a subtle service icon next to the key - tap to open the song in Spotify or Apple Music (phone) BAND ANNOTATIONS - Drawings made on the band layer now reach your bandmates reliably, and opening a song fetches their latest markings right away CONTRACTS AND CALENDAR - Import a PDF from email as either a song sheet or a contract - Strofa now asks which one you mean - Deleting a contract from the list also removes its auto-created calendar gig - The "next gig" panel no longer shows yesterday's gig after midnight - Band colour in the calendar is now blue, matching the rest of the app POLISH - Music service logos are muted so the song list stays calm - Three-character keys like F#m no longer wrap in the key badge - Various readability fixes on tinted buttons - Pin notes to a spot in the song. They scroll with the lyrics and stay tucked behind the toolbar instead of covering it. - Fixed a few guitar chords that played the wrong bass note, including Cm. - AI text formatting now writes section names in your app language. - Sign-in emails are now in English for everyone. - The autoscroll length limit is now adjustable in Settings. - Small fixes and improvements throughout.

What's New • Import from SongBook Pro now brings your PDFs along with the drawings you made on them. Choose ChordPro songs, PDFs, or both, and pick which details (key, tempo, capo, tags) come with each song — with a count of what the file contains before you import. • The icons throughout the app have been redrawn as crisp strokes that take on the colour around them, so a selected item turns orange and everything looks consistent across iPad and Android. • Draw on the sheet with gestures instead of buttons: drag to move what you have selected, and pinch to resize it. Colour is now a property of the stroke, and drawings on a PDF can be saved to your band's shared layer. • A sideways swipe always moves to the next or previous song; drag up and down to move within the sheet. • Fixed a zoomed PDF that could jump to the wrong place the first few times you moved between songs. • Various smaller fixes and refinements.

Several pages at once on tablets: lay the whole song out side by side in fullscreen and turn pages far less often. Works for both chord sheets and PDFs, and the choice is remembered per song. Draw on the sheet. Drag what you have selected to move it, pinch to resize, and tap a note to grab it. Drop in ready-made words like "Capo" and "Repeat", or write your own straight onto the sheet in handwriting. Drawings can be shared with the band, on PDFs too. Blank sheet: create a song that is just an empty page you draw on. Hear the chords. Tap a diagram to hear the shape played as a real voicing, with each string lighting up as it rings. Piano diagrams play too. Choose how fast the strings are struck, from a quick strum to one at a time while learning. Diagrams can sit wherever you want them, or fold away. A new transpose wheel with your own key at the top, and capo suggestions when you transpose upwards. The circle of fifths is included as a reference: see which chords belong together and which neighbouring keys are closest. Chord charts in notes: enter bars and chords by tapping the beat they start on, with endings, repeat signs and rests as in sheet music. Notes can have their own paper colour and be made translucent, so you can see the chord sheet through them. Choose the colour of chord symbols and whether they are semi-bold. Comments now follow the ChordPro standard. Text size is now one percentage per song, with a slider and "Fit". Foot pedals, MIDI and Flic can learn 29 actions, not just page turns. MIDI now works on iPhone, iPad and Android, and iPad can send and receive MIDI over WiFi. Strofa Foto: start a session before you go on stage, and the tablet takes photos now and then while you play. Large PDFs now open at any size. A sideways swipe always goes to the next song; up and down moves within the sheet. Fixed 15 guitar shapes that showed the wrong chord, including Gm, F, F#, Fm and G#m — every shape has been checked note by note. Settings have a new look, and the ChordPro command bar above the keyboard now works on Android too.

Strofa Photo. Start a session before you go on stage and your iPad takes photos now and then while you play — at random, and when you change song. The photos stay on your device, grouped by gig, and can be given a look afterwards: 1920s jazz, noir, 80s, rock, film or sepia. The best shots happen when you least expect them. Blank sheet. Create a song that is simply an empty sheet you draw on — chords, sketches, whatever you need. The sheet grows downwards as you fill it, and the paper follows your theme. The default pen turns white on dark paper and black on light, while the coloured pens stay as they are. Foot pedals do far more. Pedals, MIDI controllers and Flic buttons can now learn 29 actions instead of just page turns: jump to the next section of the song, start or stop auto-scroll separately, adjust scroll speed and text size, transpose, play the backing track, toggle the metronome, notes, drawing mode or recording — or take a photo. The basic actions stay up front; the rest are one tap away. Text size you can read. Each song now has a single percentage with a slider, A− / A+ and a Fit button, instead of a step counter that never told you how large the text actually was. In fullscreen, A− and A+ are large enough to hit without looking away from the music. New look for Settings. Content is grouped into cards, and the back button and home icon sit in exactly the same place on every page. On iPad the cards sit side by side instead of stretching across the full width. Chord appearance. Choose the colour of the chord symbols and whether chords and section titles are bold. Comments now follow the ChordPro standard, so {ci:} is italic and {cb:} gets a box. Also in this release: a new transpose wheel with your own key at the top, the circle of fifths as a built-in reference, chord charts in notes, MIDI foot pedals on Android, and network MIDI over WiFi on iPad.

What's New in 1.2.4: • Drawing editor: a new select/move tool (dashed square). Tap a stroke you've drawn — on chord sheets, PDFs and Word documents — and drag it into place. A small four-way handle appears next to the stroke so you can position it precisely without your finger covering it. Tap the trash icon to delete the selected stroke. • Long-press a pen color to choose stroke thickness and opacity. • Nashville numbers and Roman numerals: show chords as scale degrees (1 2 3 or I ii V). Requires the song to have a key. Enable in Settings → Display. • Capo shapes: capo now shows as a "Capo N" badge in the toolbar. Tap it (or enable in Settings → Display) to show the chord shapes you actually play with the capo on. • Simple key picker: open transpose and tap the key button to choose the key you want to play in — the app transposes there without you thinking in semitones. • The song title now shows discreetly at the top in clean full screen — reassurance on stage when the pedal changes song. • Setlist navigation: when you open a song from a setlist, the foot pedal and the ‹ › arrows now keep following that setlist. Swipe left or right on the chord sheet to move to the next or previous song — handy when your hands or feet are busy. • Band setlists: switch between "Band songs" and "My songs" when adding. Adding one of your own songs copies it into the band's library, so the whole band gets both the song and the setlist. • Set a default text size in Settings → Display → Font. A− / A+ still fine-tunes per song. • The song library in the sidebar now remembers and centers the selected song automatically, and slides in and out more smoothly. • Fixed: SongBook Pro import could read the key incorrectly (a song in D imported as F). The correct key is now set.

- Edit from your PC or Mac: open my.strofa.no in your browser to work on your songs and setlists with a full keyboard and big screen. Sign in by email, or scan a QR code and approve in the app. Import from Ultimate Guitar, SongBook Pro, OnSong, Word and text, attach PDFs, print, and more — everything syncs back to the app. - New chord-sheet font: Spline Mono (Settings > Font). - Fewer unwanted sign-outs — the app keeps you logged in more reliably. - Support for logging in to devices across different platforms

Merge and update songs — got a better version, or accidental duplicates? Select two songs and merge them, or update an existing song from another, choosing which fields to bring over. The song you keep holds onto its place in setlists, recordings and statistics. Find duplicates — spot songs with the same title and merge them in a couple of taps. Detect key — a button in the editor that works out the key from the chords when it’s missing or wrong. Structure and clean songs — a guided queue turns loosely-formatted songs into clear verse/chorus structure (review each, or do them all at once), and a Clean button strips everything except chords, lyrics and sections. Preview before you apply. FaceTime for your band — add a FaceTime link and jump into a video call from Strofa; great for rehearsing or teaching remotely. Smarter setlists and reports — the AI setlist builder now weighs your play history to favor crowd-pleasers and revive dormant songs, and Report gives a plain-language AI summary of what you’ve played. Auto-tagging and a structure strip — tag your whole repertoire at once, and jump between sections with a color-coded strip. Richer backups — now covering band songs and setlists, gigs, venues, annotations and notes. Restore lets you browse a backup, preview a song, and pick exactly what to bring back — even into a different band. Booking support! Plus various fixes and refinements.

Public artist page — now with ready-made design templates. Pick a look that fits your band, from jazz and synth to metal, country, disco, classical, folk and dance-band. Each page shows your tagline, an “About us” section, a searchable repertoire, upcoming gigs and links to your social media. Let Strofa write it for you. Enter your line-up and the app drafts your tagline and “About us” — then automatically translates them to all five languages (English, Norwegian, German, French, Spanish). Rewrite the text yourself and tap translate to bring the other languages along. Privacy first — only public gigs appear on the artist page; private bookings stay hidden. Double-tap for full screen now centers the lyrics on wide screens (iPad), so they’re easier to read at a distance. The chords/lyrics toggle is now in the toolbar (and can be added or removed under “Customize toolbar”), with a clearer icon. Refinements: chord-split words no longer show a gap mid-word, a more consistent back button in import, and better matches when importing chords from the web.

• MIDI backing band with a new console mixer: per-instrument volume and pan, mute/solo, live transpose and tempo, HD sounds and a production chain. Share the backing as a .mid file to other apps. • Ask Strofa: a built-in AI assistant that explains how features work — right inside the app. • Spotify: open a song in Spotify and get AI-matched track suggestions. • Improvements and bug fixes.

• Performance Mode: a clean full-screen stage view with setlist rail, gig clock/timer and your chosen tools — design your own layout. • Strofa Display: choose the display language, pause with fun break messages, and style the photo carousel with shapes and filters (B&W, sepia, vintage…). • Active display profile now syncs across your devices. • Customizable toolbar: pin shortcuts to your apps (tuner, DMX, piano, MIDI, calendar…) in the song view. • Various improvements and bug fixes.

New in 1.0.11: Notes now remember their position, size and layout (tab, text/draw, maximized) per song — and these settings sync across your devices and survive a reinstall. iPhone and iPad each keep their own placement. A new, subtle indicator on the Strofa logo (top left) when an update is ready — tap it to fetch the update. Fixes and stability, including a fix that keeps notes on band songs from being lost.

New in 1.0.9: My Page – publish a public band/artist page at strofa.no/@yourname, built automatically from your repertoire, gigs, photos, audio/video and booking info. Setlist designer – 7 ready-made themes, a full editor panel and PDF export in several formats (A4, story, stage) with logo and QR code. Notes – private (just you) or shared with the band. Now with hand drawing, guide lines that split the sheet into 4 bars, and a maximizable note window. Practice recordings now work offline – recordings are never lost without a connection, with a 3-2-1 countdown before you start. New "Chords" bar in the editor to insert chords right at the cursor, plus nicer line wrapping in the chord view. Fixes: iPhone rotation, performance and stability.
