目前中華民國血液及骨髓移植學會（2020）統計顯示從1983年至2020年台灣共完成8747例造血幹細胞移植，尤其是2009年至2020年期間完成5901例。隨著移植技術日益進步，死亡率降低，但治療過程中亦可能帶來副作用及合併症，可能會造成病人生理、心理、社會及靈性影響及衝擊。故自移植前既由醫護人員開始提供此自我照顧APP介入，給予相對應的醫療資訊及心理諮詢，包含：造血幹細胞移植的認識、移植前評估、移植室環境介紹、移植前自我準備、移植前調理治療、造血幹細胞重生日、移植併發症及治療、移植後追蹤項目、Q&A、任務/問卷區、個人專區、自我照護及圖表資料，以適時提供整合性照護。
