Ampwave is now free to download and try. Eligible new subscribers can try annual access free for 7 days, or choose lifetime access with a one-time purchase. Ampwave 1.4 brings more of your music experience to every screen: • Meet the redesigned Apple Watch app, with a refreshed library, Now Playing, and lyrics experience—plus downloads for individual songs and complete playlists so you can listen away from your iPhone. • Discover the people behind a song with new Backstage credits for performers, songwriters, producers, engineers, and more. • Enjoy refreshed artist pages with improved biographies, background artwork, and more reliable animated album artwork. • Keep multi-artist albums together with improved Album Artist grouping and duplicate-album merging. • Explore cleaner Backstage and More Like This sections throughout the player and album views. • Benefit from a faster, more reliable launch and smarter background analysis that responds to battery and device temperature. • Includes additional artwork, playback, layout, and stability improvements.

Fixes access for customers who previously purchased Ampwave, restores App Store purchase options, and improves scrolling for long song titles.

CarPlay now shows playlists, includes Play All, and keeps your queue playing. This update also adds a Lock Screen widget for opening Ampwave quickly.

Ampwave 1.1 is our biggest update yet: • Stream your own music from Jellyfin and Plex, or download albums and songs for offline listening. • Browse your complete library and playlists from Apple Watch without manually syncing tracks. • Personalize Library layouts, artwork shapes, tab order, visibility, and artist-page sections. • Enjoy native multichannel and spatialized playback on supported songs and audio routes. • Get better support for multiple artists, embedded ID3 lyrics, richer metadata, and AI-generated music indicators. • Fetch metadata faster with concurrent, retry-aware background processing. • Benefit from smoother large-library browsing, lower lyrics-view energy use, EQ improvements, and crash fixes. Ampwave is now free to download. New users can try annual access free for 7 days, then choose annual or one-time lifetime access. Existing customers who previously paid for Ampwave keep lifetime access.
