Can you hold a beat after the guide disappears? BeatKeep is a focused silent-pulse check for musicians, drummers, DJs, dancers, and anyone training a stronger internal sense of time. Choose a target tempo, follow five visible countdown pulses from 5 to 1, then tap from memory for 20 seconds. BeatKeep waits until the end to show the answer, so you measure your own pulse instead of chasing a live BPM display. HOW IT WORKS • Choose a target from 40 to 240 BPM • See a brief ready cue, then follow five visual and haptic pulses from 5 to 1 • Tap for 20 silent seconds with a fading ripple for each accepted tap • Review measured BPM, accuracy, steadiness, and tempo drift • See whether you held steady, sped up, or slowed down • Get tempo-aware coaching tuned to how fast you played and how you drifted BUILT FOR REPEATABLE PRACTICE Completed checks save automatically to on-device History, where you can reopen the full result and compare the pulse you intended with the pulse you actually held. Retry the same tempo immediately or return later for another quick warm-up. BeatKeep 1.1 adds tempo-aware coaching and a 60 → 90 → 120 BPM challenge ladder. Start and Review actions now stay within reach, active checks can be cancelled without saving unfinished taps, and destructive actions use clear centered confirmations. Pulse charts show smoother green-to-amber-to-coral transitions wherever the measured tempo crosses the target or a deviation threshold. Completed checks save automatically, and every History row opens a full read-only result with retry and delete controls.
