Changed the export function to solve a memory problem with large book lists.

Fixed the sort on the main list so that the current sort order is checked in the dropdown menu

I had to raise the minimum iOS version from 12.4 to 13 because to a change that Apple has made.

Updated the message the user gets when trying to save a book without all three required fields entered.

You can now search for Book Name, Author, Genre or Date Read without changing the sort field.

Added the capability to change the app color from the defaults screen. Added long press gestures to the series, genre and ratings fields so you can add items to the reference lists by pressing on one of the three fields and holding for 1/2 second.

Added some color and adjusted the font size and color in the add/edit screens

Added long touch gestures for the three textfields that have drop down lists attached so you can add or edit the reference list without having to leave the add or edit book screen.

Added buttons in the Add book screen for Series Name and Genre that take you to the reference lists so you can add new names to the lists without discarding the book info your adding.

Upgraded the barcode scanner.

Fixed an issue in the export module where empty fields were causing the module to close.

Fixed the search bar when searching dates read.

Improved performance by better sizing and storage of the book images.

When you add a new book with a image of the book the image is automatically sized to the right height and width and the resolution is set so core data size is better utilized. If you already have books in the system then you can simply go to the edit screen and save each book and the images will be adjusted.

Improved the sort options on the list screen and the Group by Screens

In the View By Group Menu I made it clear that the existing view by date was view by published year and I added another view, Date Read so you can see how many books you have read grouped by year.

Fixed a problem with sorting by date in the main list of books. When saving an book cover image the image is reduced in file size automatically to its smallest possible size to enhance performance in the app when you have hundreds of books. There was a problem deleting books on certain older iPads which has been fixed.

When selecting the default datepicker the selected datepicker shows on the bottom of the screen.

If your device is using iOS 16.0 or higher the barcode scanner is using a newer code library that allows you to scan book barcodes and or ISBN numbers with greater ease.

Fixed a bug with the scanner module with iOS 16.1 and qr codes.

If you are using iOS 16 or greater then you will see a paste button in the Add New and Edit Book screens that will allow you to take a screen shot of the book cover. When the screen shot moves to the bottom of the screen you need to long tap the image and select the copy option, then you can go to the Books read app and hit the paste button on the new or edit screen.
