In cargo airports,truck congestion at terminals is a big pain area. There are longer waiting times for truckers to pick up or deliver the cargo with no visibility. A large number of vehicles arrive in specified pick hours without any prior information. It puts burden on WFS staffs. It results into inefficient utilization of resources which causes mismanagement and delays.
To streamlining the cargo terminal for appointments and truck decongestion to avoid unnecessary delays ACS app will be automating the process by providing a truck slot management. ACS app will be used by drivers of Trucking Companies for making booking appointments for Cargo Pick-up or Cargo drop-off at WFS Cargo Terminal at the Airport.
ACS enables truck drivers to generate Vehicle Token number using which they will check-in at the parking area once they reach the terminal and proceed for document verification at Cargo Terminal counter.
There are two modules in app
1.Walk-in customer- Enter details and click on submit and proceed for document verification post Air Way Bill creation.
2.Yard check-in- User can search VT no and click on search, it will retrieve vehicle details and click on submit to proceed for Yard check-In at Cargo Terminal counter.
