Experience Earth's geography with Topomorph, a powerful visualization tool for visionOS that transforms 2D topographic data into simulated 3D terrain models for reference, analysis, and research.
/* IMMERSIVE SPATIAL VISUALIZATION */
Topomorph brings topographic data to life in your space. Using Apple Vision Pro's advanced spatial computing, watch as flat elevation data is rendered into simulated 3D terrain, allowing you to compare and analyze mountains, valleys, and landscapes from any angle.
/* ELEVATION-BASED TERRAIN COLORING */
Our rendering system applies colors inspired by real-world geography based on elevation to aid in analysis:
• Deep blue for oceans and deep bodies of water
• Sandy beige for coastal and low-lying areas
• Vibrant green for grasslands and plains
• Rich forest green for mid-elevation regions
• Gray-brown textures for mountainous terrain
• White snow caps for the highest peaks
/* CUSTOMIZE YOUR VIEW */
Tailor the visualization to your needs with multiple rendering modes:
• Realistic Mode: Natural colors based on real-world elevation.
/* INTUITIVE SPATIAL CONTROLS */
Designed for visionOS, Topomorph offers effortless interaction:
• Tap to select and load terrain regions.
• Pinch to zoom and examine intricate details.
• Rotate models with natural hand gestures.
• Place terrain models anywhere in your personal space.
/* GET STARTED WITH SAMPLE TERRAINS */
This version includes several free, high-quality sample terrains for you to explore and test the app's capabilities. We are constantly working to add new regions and data sets in future updates.
/* PERFECT FOR */
• Geography enthusiasts and educators
• Researchers analyzing elevation data
• 3D visualization professionals
