As the UK’s first app focussed on improving people’s mental wellbeing through fitness, we are here to support your journey towards better mental health.

You will be able to access 100s of professionally-developed workouts led by former professional rugby players Jamie Acton & Tommy Holland, that you can perform in the gym or at home, with or without equipment.

Track your mood pre and post workout and see which workouts are best for banishing your demons.

HOW FIT DO I HAVE TO BE TO USE BANISH?

Whether you choose to check in or jump straight in, our workouts are designed to suit all fitness levels and lifestyles. All Banish sessions are time-based, which means you decide how much, or how little, you want to push yourself. Ranging between 10-30 minutes, you’ll always be able to find a session that works for you. 

HOW DOES THE APP HELP IMPROVE MENTAL WELLBEING?

We know first-hand that keeping active provides a huge boost to mental wellbeing. 78% of our Pilot users said they felt more in control of their mental demons after just 6 weeks of using Banish. Our sole focus is using fitness to feel better.

With our unique mood tracker, you’ll tell us how you’re feeling before you exercise (even if you’re feeling good!). This will encourage you to recognise and acknowledge your feelings. Then, after you’ve finished your session, we’ll ask you to check in again, so you can see exactly how much the workout has impacted your mood.

We have hundreds of workouts in the app, half of which require equipment and half which don’t. These include:

No more awful playlists while you train. Banish is compatible with all music players, so you can play whatever music you like, and our audio instruction will fade in and out of whatever awesome tunes you want to workout to.

BORED OF STARING AT SCREENS?

We reckon we all spend too much time staring at screens. That’s why we have separate video instruction so you can see exactly how to make the most out of your workout, without having to stare at a screen whilst you’re training.

Throughout the workout you’ll have our expert Personal Trainers in your ear providing audio instruction, motivating and guiding you through every step.
