This app is where we help you stay connected with everything Boathouse. With this app you can: watch or listen to past messages; stay up to date with push notifications about upcoming events; share your favorite messages via social media; and get connected with community through small groups or partner churches. The mission of Boathouse Ministry is to see God transform the lives of college-age adults through God’s word, worship, discipleship, and community. Our vision is to impact every college-age adult with the reality of having Jesus at the center of every part of their life. Boathouse is a non-denominational para-church gathering of college-age adults (18-25 year olds) on Lake Tyler that is not affiliated with any local church body or organization. We fully believe the Bible is the true written Word of God, and we exist to be His witnesses in Tyler, throughout Smith County, in Texas, and to the ends of the earth, as Jesus said in Acts 1:8. Boathouse began in 2015 as two guys who loved the lake and loved Jesus went out on boats with their Bibles. As local ministries took a break for the summer, they noticed a need for a fun place for college students to continue to worship Jesus in community. Since then, God has used the lake to bring people from various backgrounds – those who have walked with Jesus their whole lives, to students who have never stepped foot in a church. By God’s grace, Boathouse has grown into a year-round non-profit organization that continues the original vision to help make disciples of college students alongside their local church bodies. Week by week, it is our great joy to see God work for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).
