LGV & HGV Theory Test Kit 2024 4+

Worth every penny!

I used this app (solely) to study for my Cat C (LGV) Theory and Hazard perception so I could progress to the practical C1 driving course. I went through each section and started pretty bad only achieving a passing mark on one or two sections. I then just went through every section again and again until I was scoring high 90’s and passing. Did some practice tests on the app which are included. I’m just back from sitting my theory and hazard perception test and I’m happy to say I passed. 94% on theory and 84% on Hazard Perception. For £10 a month you can not go wrong. Everything you need right here! Of course there were on or two question here and there which were new to me but that’s the nature of a these things…..Highly highly recommended!! *****

Passed First Time, Just!

I used this app alone to prepare for my LGV theory and hazard perception test. I had about a month to prepare and I did 1-2 hours a day on the app. To begin with I went through the test categories and didn’t move on to the next category until I achieved 100%. Once I had 100% on all categories I moved onto mock tests. By the third day I was getting no less than 99% but usually 100% on every test.

So I was somewhat confident on my way to the real test. However my confidence was shattered when the first question appeared on the screen and it was a subject not covered by this app. It was about rest periods on trains and ferries. There were several other questions that seemed to be outside the scope of this app. I did pass however with 93% but bare in mind I had probably done 15 mock tests in a row on the app and never got below 99%. So this should tell you this app does not have all the questions.

Some of the questions are word for word identical and others are worded slightly differently. Not enough to be an issue though.

Of course, not all the questions are the same as on the exam, and DVSA explains it as follows. The idea is that students actually study and understand the theory, instead of just memorizing the answers. So if you understand rather than try to memorize you will have no trouble answering all the questions you have on the real exam as well!

Right Iv had the app for around 1 hour… already Iv had three pop ups while trying to use the app and in the middle of a test it happened once. When I say pop ups I mean in app requests pushing you to review…. One was recommend to a friend and get access to 5 unlocked hazard perception videos…. Umm no I’m paying bloody £12 a month for this it should all be included and not holding stuff back until I recommend ! What a joke I thought. Answers really do repeat themselves literally back to back sometimes. Finally the all is easy to use. Good lay out and I like how it gives you feedback but had I not already purchased and committed I would have tried another app for the reasons above. Also I think the price is expensive as you only get access to 1 months content before having to buy again. I think you guys are being greedy and need to think about the customer more… you shouldn’t be popping up asking for recommendations for extra content when we’re paying you good money already and especially not in the middle of an exam! Not good
