Finally. A decent MMO brought to mobile that isn’t auto run and actually feels like a MMO. Graphics aren’t bad at all, game runs very smooth on my SE. Already enjoying the game and think I will enjoy it for a long time to come. I realise you do not ‘have to’ pay to play this game, however I was wanting to subscribe to show my support. I’d happily pay £5/6 a month. But I’m not willing to pay more than I pay for my WoW sub :( sorry Mad Otters but I can’t justify that for a game I’ll play an hour or so a day :(
I’m enjoying this!
I watched “worst mmo ever?’ by the youtuber Josh Strife Hayes and thought I’d give this game a go anyway. I’m really surprised at the amount of content squeezed into this little mobile mmorpg. The crafting system is better than WOW, the stories are funny and I like the open world which makes you feel like you’re roaming open corn fields on a summers day. It’s a chilled game that’s well populated and you’ll get lots of help in the chat. There are micro transactions needed for storage, mounts, pets and if you want to merge weapons together but I haven’t needed to pay anything yet. I play using my iPad and mobile but it can also be linked to a pc steam account or run on Google play and windows. Simple but with lots of content!
Fun game
Just started playing, so not sure about end game or what ever but seems fun with lots of fun things to do, like mini bounties in quest areas while doing quests, tutorial isn’t forced on you but is part of the main questing area, such as go kill 10 frogs, and right there is a fisher man trainer etc.
Limited guides online, or on their website, community seems good though, helpful too. Needs more guides on classes.
Take a hint from 5v5 moba, the famous ones, with their hero academy videos. Have one of them for each sub class.
No subscription to play the full game, so ignore previous reviews regarding that.
There is a 1.99 starter bundle that looks appealing but not worth investing until you figure out subclasses so the 48 hour period that’s offered in is a bit ... well it’s not enough and offered too early for not long enough.
Camera movement should have option to always face where you are facing. Easy camera should have an explanation to it, tool tips on options would be great too.
But generally a fun game.
UPDATE: new starter quest is much better than only one.
Has a strong WoW feel to it, still no rogue class ;(
With no pvp rogue class should be implemented.
