Thanks to the app, you can always see all your everyday banking affairs at a glance and you can bank quickly and securely, wherever you are.

Get started with ABN AMRO too. Open a personal account in the app - it’s a breeze! You can even open a current account in the app using your international passport in many cases. No need to go to a branch.

You can do more with the app than you may know, like:
• log in to Internet Banking and confirm orders securely there
• get connected immediately with the right customer service representative
• change your personal details and settings
• block or unblock your debit card or request a replacement
• manage your digital debit cards
• send a Tikkie payment request

And of course you can also:
• do your banking right in the app and pay using iDEAL
• view your transactions, balance and bank accounts
• transfer money and schedule payment orders
• get notifications about deposits, withdrawals and direct debit transactions
• make investments, add to your savings, and view and take out a mortgage or insurance
• add accounts held at other banks to your overview

If you already have a personal or business ABN AMRO current account, you can start using the app right away.

Secure banking
Once you’re logged in to the app, you can confirm transactions using the 5-digit ID code, and often with your fingerprint or Face ID. Be sure to keep your personal ID code secret. Fails at step 6of7 in initial setup therefore useless

The app fails at step 6of7 during initial setup. On the screen where you set the limit for transactions allowed without the e.dentifier the “Next” button does nothing.

Let me know when this is fixed please.

Incredibly infuriating system

Have never encountered an app which fails so many times, at every stage of verification. Initial verification to submit an application took me around an hour as it would not accept my national identity card or drivers license. Scanning passport failed multiple times. After passport scan, the application would not verify that my picture matched. After multiple tedious trials I succeeded. Now, secondary identification process after receiving my card and activating over the phone, even harder. Passport chip scan fails around 5 times before registering, holding the phone the exact same way. Will not match my photo with the passports despite matching the same passport before. Awful experience

Some basic functionality missing

1. The QR scanning button is in an odd place, please look at data usage and consider repositioning in the tab bar as I can imagine it’s used quite a lot to verify purchases
2. Adding cards to Apple Pay not working
3. Why can’t I use faceID to see my card details? This means every time I want to pay for something on my phone I have to find my physical card and read the numbers off the card. Very annoying!
4. Less so to do with the app but the service of using the plastic thing is very outdated. If the app performed better, would the cumbersome plastic e-identifier be required at all?
5. Moving money isn’t that intuitive, to just transfer between accounts, it looks like I have to pay someone - also could just be a couple of taps and much clearer.
6. While copying IBAN or other details from the bottom sheet… just add the copy icon rather than native functionality to copy. Small interaction but also very annoying!
