Good enough choice
The program choice is good enough. My bug bare is the number of times an error sign comes up on my screen and often prevents me from finishing a program. It’s just so frustrating!
Terrible Costumer service - avoid !
I signed up for the Free trial. Before the expire date I did go to the website version and cancelled to continue the free trial (I was in hospital). I received an email confirming the cancellation followed by another email from Acorn “ gifting” me with another 30 FREE days, which is actually a TRAP for you having to go through the hassle of having to cancel it YOURSELF again after 30 days, otherwise they will obviously - was not obvious for me because they didn’t say in this email that YOU would have to cancel it AGAIN after 30 days-
Their customer services are all via email and takes ages to answer you. They are changing me for the second free trial that I didn’t ask for and said that will charge me again after I manually cancelled the subscription for the second time.
The shows are terrible and this TV and their ways of gifting the customers as you can see is just a trap. Run from it !
No Adverts!
What’s not to like? No adverts, can watch it anywhere …. So far in my conservatory, in my bedroom, in caravan on holiday and on the train!
Lots of lovely U.K. programmes like Keeping Faith(Wales) Whitstable Pearl (Kent) Kingdom (Norwich) Rosemary and Thyme (Sussex, Bucks and Oxfordshire ) I’ve gone all around the British isles via this app and many more programmes to go!
Easy to cancel if you need a break and to restart your subscription, I’ve not found anything I dislike yet.
