Wonderful!
I’ve done a few of the audio-driving tours and think they’re great. They’re easy to use and the audio guides are very engaging. They point out sites of interest along with some interesting facts and stories. And the voice of the narrator is pleasant to listen to. I’ve used these when traveling and need a break from being on my feet but want to still explore and see things. It’s a relaxing and engaging way to see and learn a lot from the comfort of your car. I def recommend it.
Amazing tour!
We downloaded this app to take our family of five around the Gettysburg battlefield and it was amazing! The directions were easy to follow and the stories were interesting and gave a clear understanding of the history of the battle. We loved the GPS enabled stories so we didn’t have to worry about hitting pause and play at the right time. By doing our own tour, as opposed to a bus tour, we were able to stop where we wanted, take as much time as we wanted at different stops and even pause for lunch. This was a great way to see the Gettysburg battlefield!

Helpful guide
Once we had the hang of the guides they worked pretty well, however, it was annoying to have questions about starting the guide when we were at the start point snd so had to select ‘ explore on own’ to remove the questions and prevent the only options being Use Google maps ‘ etc when we didn’t want to.
The other problem we had was not starting the Pacific Highway from San Francisco as we were already in Monterey, and the guide kept trying to send us Back to SF which we didn’t want to do. As most of the Big Sur was closed, and we just couldn’t get onto the guide in Monterey we ended up only picking it up in Santa Barbara and making our own way to there.
The information imparted ( especially in the Grand Canyon) was interesting and that guide worked very well.
Would definitely buy another trip if available for where we wanted to explore.

Very impressive guide, did exactly what it said it would.
I detest mass tourism, but am acutely aware I’m part of the problem. After visiting some lesser known historical sites in Mexico, I was keen to just relax and curate my own experience of Chichén Itzá , I took a punt on this app and it exceeded expectations in every way. The tech worked perfectly, the interface was intuitive and the info contained in the guide was spot on (due to the extreme busyness of the site, I was following the same route as some physical guided tours, so was able to corroborate what they were saying with the info in the app, and it was spot on) the details, right down to the quality of the voice artist, was excellent.
Very good content, but app is a bit clunky
Downloaded onto an iPhone 11 for the Chichen Itza tour. It worked fine, but the app is a bit clunky, but we thought the content was very good, very clear & informative and it was delivered well. Overall it was worth the money.
To address previous reviews: Yes, it will probably drain your battery a bit more than usual as the app uses your location, but I always carry a power bank when on holiday, so I was ready for this.
App feedback: the geo-fencing and auto-play is a good feature, but there were times when a clip I had already listened to would start playing, sometimes this would interrupt another clip I was listening to, meaning I had to open the app and reselect the clip I was previously listening to. Perhaps a new feature could be that once a clip has been played, it won’t automatically play again? Or possibly if a clip is playing, it shouldn’t be interrupted by another clip?
Also the UI is looking a little dated, it might be worth to get a UI designer to help with layouts. It didn’t impact the experience of the tour, but it would make the app feel more up to date.

The geofencing troubles are unusual but might have occured where a few pins are very close together — we’ll adjust them asap.
