Description

This is a weight loss specific app that makes it as easy as possible for you, so you can get your life back.

It figures out your calorie deficit and adjusts your protein, calories and step targets after your weekly reviews to keep your progress going.

We get rid of the noise, just focus on 3 targets every day and you'll see results. Those 3 are your calories, protein and steps. You don't even need to workout!

It's a weight loss coach and the best food logger on the market combined into one app.

The issue in the past is that tracking calories was slow, boring, and you couldn't do it for meals out and more complex stuff. Not any more.

Welcome to the revolution in calorie tracking.

Using AI powered technology, with ParrotPal it’s never been quicker to log your food and know your calorie deficit

No fuss, no countless taps. Just say, type or scan what you ate, and we handle the rest.

Imagine this: Dinner's over. You’ve had a starter, a steak, and maybe one too many drinks.

Old way? Search, scroll, tap, rinse, repeat. Give up halfway through logging from exhaustion - way too much effort!

With ParrotPal? You just tell us what you had, and we do all the hard work!

A quick text or a voice note is all we need. “I had a Caesar salad, a 8oz ribeye steak, and two pints of beer”. Boom! Tracked. Like magic!

It’s not about the tech we used to build it (even though it's cutting edge). It's about your journey to weight loss and keeping it simple, easy, and successful.

Why ParrotPal is the missing weight loss tool you need:

- Hassle-free tracking: Simply type or voice note. Just like updating a friend on what you ate that day. So easy!

- Huge barcode scanning network: Use the barcode scanner for that instant food capture.

- You can still track the traditional way like other apps by using the huge verified food database. But when you're eating out? Your partner makes you a meal and didn't weigh it all out? You're eating out over a weekend? Use the type or voice note AI input to do it for you in a second, so you can move on living your life! Tracking to 90% accuracy with 1 voice note on a weekend is better than the usual 0% because It's too hard and takes too much time!

- The Pareto Principle: We’re all about following the big 3 rules of fat loss. Calories, protein, and steps. 90% of your weight loss, simplified.

- Need recipe ideas?: Dive into 16,000+ mouthwatering recipes.

- Integrations: Sync ParrotPal with Apple Healthkit. Because every step counts.

- Weekly check-ins: Your metabolism changes, which means your targets need to too. We track changes in your metabolic rate, so we can make tweaks to your calories, protein and step targets for continued fat loss. These changes may happen weekly or less frequently, it depends on your data and results.

This isn’t another weight loss calorie counting app. This is the game changer the industry has been waiting for.

We've re-built the whole process of calorie tracking. We threw away the old playbook all other apps play by. The result?

An app so simple and effective you won't believe it.

ParrotPal gives you a healthy calorie deficit and takes things one day at a time with you. Unlike other trackers that put you on 1200 cals, ParrotPal will never put you into these extremes.

Focus on 3 metrics and let the results happen over time.

An app built with love by experts.

Amazing.

This is the app and the approach I needed for years. Gone are the judgemental comments about foods being bad or wrong. All food is seen as just that. Food.

The ease with which you can track food is brilliant - type it like a message, voice note it. This works like a dream for someone like me who often finds tracking tricky if I need to be exact in spelling etc. it feels so user friendly to me.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely 100% yes! It’s working for me. Without making me feel I cant maintain it. I can. It is genuinely so simple to log, delete, add foods if they’re not in the data base.

Add to that there is a very supportive creator behind the app, with fast responses to questions and queries. A great what’s app community full of support and feedback as well as tips and tricks to get the absolute most out of the app. There’s also a growing community on Facebook.

Cost - well truthfully very reasonable! The ability to have a trial first was great. I know there are other free to use apps. But one never been as successful with those as I am now. This is for me the best way forward. I can’t praise it enough.

Developer Response ,

Thank you so much for the nice words. It's the reason we do all of this :) Everything you mention is exactly how we wanted to help, and we're glad you're seeing the benefits of it.

The WhatsApp community is great, you're all stars for being part of it and supporting one another!

Game Changer! 5 Stars!

An absolutely brilliant idea that I can’t believe the market leaders haven’t thought of already. The app makes a very mundane task take quite literally seconds - it’s made food and calorie tracking enjoyable again. To also have access to daily podcasts and be able to track my progress so easily through the check-in section is fantastic too. The layout is very easy to use and there isn’t a barrage of data and information which can be so off putting.

I highly recommend this for anyone on a fitness journey - it will not disappoint you!! Excited to see what future updates will bring.

Hard to navigate

I was a member of Scott’s previous company, Turtle Method and really enjoyed that app so was excited to see what Parrot Pal could offer. I love to idea with the ease of talking to your phone and it tracking what you eat however straight away with my breakfast and tracking, all the food was inaccurate, a good 20-50 calories over the actual amount stated on the foods packing and protein off too. Which when you’re on a calorie deficit to lose weight, every calorie counts. I then tried to manually add a food, which was pretty difficult to locate, saved the food, then went to add it to my food diary and it wasn’t there 😕 Navigating around the app wasn’t easy, inaccurate data for food and adding your own food very difficult. I love the concept however the app needs a lot more work. For now i will stick to Turtle Method!

Hi there,

Thanks for testing out the app! You can barcode scan and use a verified food search too, all from the home screen if you prefer that way. The AI type/voice track is 98% accurate for cals, 93% accurate for protein when compared vs verified foods. However, this is negligible when you take a bird's eye view. What's more important is consistent tracking and getting that right. Food labels can be up to 10-20% off depending on country & we can't guarantee serving sizes are exact to packet. So overall the accuracy is there for sure. If you combine text/voice log with barcode/verified search (when you have time) you have a very powerful set of tools. Most users will voice log on weekends when it's near impossible to log that with standard search & scroll (think eating out, foods with no info etc. ParrotPal makes it possible to track these which is amazing). Users of ParrotPal are losing weight and really enjoying the flexibility of the app. Calorie deficits are required for fat loss, but perfection isn't (it doesn't exist in calorie tracking). We find that users who track more days (even if that means 1 voice log for the entire day) lose more weight and have better results compared to users who track "perfectly" on and off. Example: "on it" Monday to Friday and then weekends no tracking as it's more social and they can't be bothered to try and find the foods. Users who voice log weekend days (even if its 1 voice log for the entire day) get an accurate representation of their intake, and it's super easy. By doing this, momentum is built and the bridge between weekday and weekends are solid. This awareness alone is enough to create many "aha" moments with calorie intake. I appreciate you trying the app out and giving the feedback, I hope this reply is insightful and useful to understand the app and its use case.
