Air Media Server is the server application required in order to use Air Media Center for iOS.
Air Media Center is a multi-platform mobile media center that lets you effortlessly stream your music, videos and photos from your Mac or PC to your mobile device. Air Media Server automatically transcodes your media collection on demand when necessary.
IMPORTANT:
To use this software, you must first purchase and install Air Media Center on your iOS device.

Plain and simple: it’s fantastic!
I always look out for outstanding apps… and this has to be one of the best I have come across. The process of downloading the server software and then the apps on iPhone/ipad is straightforward and works first time. As a media server it is easy to use… a real delight in fact. Will be even better when they 'upgrade to include Smart TVs', but until then you should look no further than this app if you want to efforrtlessly stream your videos, films, music etc from your mac (or your PC) to your devices. Super - thank you!
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOR ALONG TIME
After getting rid of my PC for a Mac mini I have searched for an app the could stream all my video to my IPad or IPhone and here it is.
Download Air Media Center to your IPad or IPhone and download Air Media Server to your mac. Find the files on the mac, find the mac on your IPhone "et voila”, streaming to your device. So simple.
It does seem to struggle with films downloaded from ITunes possibly because they are HD, but other than that perfect.

Does exactly what it says it does. Works perfectly and efortlessly. Love it.
