Needs some tweaks

I do love it.. but there are some hardware and app improvements that would help a lot.

Descriptions of the measured data, for instance I had to google what VOC meant and what it means to me.

Secondly 3hr and then 24hr windows to view trend data isn’t really the best view.. I’d like to see a ‘working day’ window.. so 12hr view would be better, or even better a scalable graph.. such as is in apps like Binance.

Hardware really should rethink adding wifi.. setup to send remote reporting alerts. I know BTLE has its benefits.. but if Nest protect can do it.. Airthings can do it!

Thanks

A retrograde step

Being forced by Airthings to move to this app. What a retrograde step. Airthings Wave app had clear easy to read visuals of both current and historical data. This new app has tiny visuals and it’s impossible to see meaningful averages without dragging the screen across. Extra touches are needed to achieve what should be the default views. I suggest that the user experience guys refer to the Disability Discrimination Act and make some fundamental changes - one day they will be old with visual or other impairments- stop designing apps for people like yourself- they are the minority of your users!!!!!!

What have they done to the App?

Updated to make it better and they’ve taken away the graphs so you can’t see past the latest reading. This is now useless.
With the the old way you could see graphs of readings as and when they changed. Still get the notification that something has risen but nothing to see apart from a red dot. No graphs, no measurement to compare to previous. Within 15 mins it disappears when the device updates so I can’t even see what’s happened 5 mins ago. This is utterly pointless now.

Developer Response ,

Hi there - there seems to be some confusion - the new app actually provides more detailed graphs with timestamps compared to the previous older app. If you select any sensor of your monitor, you will be brought to graphs for that specific sensor. For example, try tapping on "humidity" and you will be brought to the graphs. Please give this a try and let us know what you think!
