Amazing update!!
So, I downloaded this game, oh, a few months ago now, loved it from the start. No ads interrupting gameplay, no pushing purchases, if you wanted a few extra resources you could watch ads, but they weren’t forced…then I got to the max level (13 at the time) and was a little disappointed because there was nothing after that. I thought it was just going to be a dead game. Well, the developers have outdone themselves with this latest update (26th Aug 23) new area’s, new xp levels beyond 13, new bosses, resources, quests. I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone looking for a superior idle style game 5 stars!!
Events need to be balanced!
I don’t ever write reviews for games but this one needs it.
All in all, this game is a great time killer and I’ve spent hours on it since I downloaded it last week. I unlocked the first event which is to catch jellyfish. Now don’t get me wrong. I like the grind to unlock certain abilities which become permanent unlocks. No matter how annoying it is when they fly over a wall when you have 1% left, every level gives you that upgrade. My 4 star rating applies to this event. I have played for 2-3 hours since the event started and I have only caught 524 jellyfish. You’re telling me I need to catch a total of 20,000 in 4 days before the event finishes to get a ‘’Secret Power which could probably be trash. Yes this event would be accomplished if you poured real money into the game. I’d have the event complete if I spent £320. These events need to be a lot more balanced for the players who would rather grind it out than spend money. Why not put a multiplier on every level earned like 1x , 2x, 3x and so on? If the events became more balanced, this game would be a easy 5 stars.
Really good to start with
Some quests can take a long time to achieve with a lot of repetitive actions to gather the necessary resources. But still quite fun, until you get to the second frozen level, then you are back to chasing things for ages to try to get one item, and just as you are close they cross a wall and you have to start again. Really good fun to start with but just plain annoying on the frozen level. Can’t comment on further levels as I got bored and deleted the game. Excellent that ADs are optional, but on my iPad (gen 8) they don’t work, even if I try to watch the screen goes black and everything locks up, so you restart the game and don’t get the reward. Looks like Ads are used to unlock stuff in the frozen level which might be important, but I couldn’t tell!
