Anki Pro: Flashcards Learning 4+

This is a very good app, and as a former Quizlet user, I must say this is an upgrade! The app looks very nice, has lots of features, but it still looks very minimal and easy to use, without being distracting! Additionally, it has a much better spaced repetition system compared to quizlet. AnkiPro also looks much nicer aesthetically compared to Anki and it just feels nicer to use, especially as the Anki app on iOS doesn’t look great and is also quite expensive.

I’ve been using this app for a while now and it’s helped me a lot with my GCSEs, it’s one of the best flashcard apps! However, i’ve given it 3 stars as it lacks one major aspect; the learning algorithms. I don’t like how all the algorithms, other than general, use spaced repetition. When I study for tests the night before, and I had 60 flashcards in a deck for example, I would find it useful if the app would present me 10 first. I would need to get these right until the app slowly adds more so it helps builds my short term memory. This is similar to the algorithm at AnkiApp which I have used before, and theirs is called ‘Advanced SRS’. I prefer using AnkiPro and that’s why I would only continue to use your app if you implemented another algorithm like this.

Please implement this.

The app has a great space repetition algorithm easy enough to use
But without a subscription it’s unusable after 2+ weeks as more limitations are added over time
It’s starts with:
-only being allowed to view 50 cards then an add to view another 50 with adds littered throughout
-then 10 cards are allowed to be viewed then an add and another 10 can be viewed with adds littered throughout
-now I am only allowed to review 50 cards a day after about two to four weeks of usage

I understand the app has to make a profit I don’t mind an add every now and then or reasonable limitations
Just the fact that the limitations get worse as the app is used for longer to coerce you into paying the premium
just charge for the app because it’s useless without the premium
I can’t justify paying £24 when they’re are plenty of free substitutes with the exact same technology

I would love to leave a positive review but it’s especially upsetting knowing I’m going to have to transfer my hundreds of flash cards onto a different application as the app gets useless over time 50 cards a day doesn’t even cover half a set of flash cards and for me is ridiculous

So my advice is to if you can just use the Anki website which is free and has the exact same technology not littered with adds like this is .
