Golfboy is a golf shot measurement app designed for iPhone users. Since it works with just an iPhone, anyone can use it easily with a simple tripod setup. Using advanced image analysis technology, the app provides real-time measurements for distance, ball speed, launch angle, and club speed. ■ Supported Devices:

Note: Form analysis features are available on iPhone SE2, iPhone 11, and later models.
■ Measurable Distances:
The maximum measurable distance varies depending on your iPhone’s lens:
- iPhones with ultra-wide lenses (using a tripod at 1.2m height): Up to 280 yards
- iPhones without ultra-wide lenses (using a tripod at 1.2m height): Up to 220 yards
Raising the tripod height can extend the measurement range.
Measurements may be inaccurate in low-light environments or when the ball blends into the background. Please test the app in your environment during the free trial period.
■ Subscription Plans:
Golfboy is free to download, but a subscription is required to access measurement features. Start with a free trial, then continue with a subscription based on rates set for your country.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Charges for the next period will be billed 24 hours before the current subscription expires.

1)Basic Plan (Monthly)
Unlocks shot, putting, swing functions, and device-pairing features.
2)Premium Plan (Monthly/Yearly)
Includes all Basic Plan features plus access to all in-app purchases during the subscription period.
3)Business [Commercial] Plan (Monthly)
Grants a commercial license for business use (e.g., lessons, rentals). Includes the Basic Plan features, as well as operational support tools like Data Auto-Deletion and Settings Lock.

I've been using Golf Boy for a few weeks now, and I'm really impressed with the app. The launch monitor feature is incredibly accurate and gives me detailed insights into my golf shots. It's been really helpful in identifying areas for improvement in my game. The app is also very user-friendly and easy to navigate. I highly recommend Golf Boy to any golfer looking to take their game to the next level.One recommendation is a feature similar to the course feature but just putting to make putting practise more fun!
Surprisingly good free features

I only have the free version but the features “round” and “creator” are amazing. The ability to create your own course and then play it is very good. The only negative I have (not sure if you get it with the premium package) is that I can see where my ball goes and direction and whatnot but you can’t see the ball “fade” or “slice” or “draw” or “hook”. If this isn’t implemented I would love to see it introduced. It really would take this game to the top!

Good but lacks killer feature

I downloaded and played this in Oct 25. I had the free trial and also the basic app was free then. It’s really incredible. I bought the 3D driving range which I thought was the ability to play the basic 3D courses. I streamed it through the iPad on to a projector which game me a full golf sim in my lounge. I had a subscription for 2 moths to try it.However, until they manage to integrate hook and slice it is not really that much use.Hooking and slicing are the main issue with most peoples games and without knowing that, you have no idea if you have actually hit a decent shot. I will look at the subscription once the developers have done this, which I do hope they manage to do.It will then get 5 stars from me - I feel a bit mean not giving it 5 now, but without this measurement it doesn’t seem complete.

I tried a few launch monitors but this was far and away the easiest to get working. The form analysis is great and I’m looking forward to trying this down the range. 2 months free trial and £8.99 a month after that is great value for this feature rich app. Give it a try. You can always cancel during the trial if you don’t get on with it!
