Aqua Map offers OFFICIAL NAUTICAL CHARTS (UKHO) for marine navigation. Purchase a chart subscription for the area of your interest, download the map areas for offline use, and connect your onboard instruments for a complete experience.

● PURCHASE OPTIONS
To access the charts, you need to purchase a chart subscription for the area of interest. Optionally, you can add the Expert subscription to unlock extra navigation features. Subscription payments will be made through your account (Apple ID). The annual subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before expiration. You can manage your subscription and disable automatic renewal in the account settings section after purchase.

I have been using Aqua Maps for a couple of years and find it very user friendly. Unlike some navigation apps it does not have too many whistles and bells. So simple to use and so far meets my requirements. My only criticism would be the anchor alarm. I have tried several anchor alarm apps. All those I have tried go off when they should not ie boat still within the parameters set this includes the Aqua Map anchor alarm.

Easy and intuitive to use

First impressions are that it is easy and intuitive to use with very helpful features like route planning, fuel consumption estimation, and anchorage drift alert.Really like how quickly the App loaded when opened, and the speed of download of each segment of the maps.
Faroes charts

The charts for the Faroes are useless with roads on the sea and little detail…. You’d get more from a wall map of the world! UK seem better and look like they are based on Admiralty charts, but as you can get a full set of the real thing from Memory map id go for that.Thanks for response on fact you do not have the data from Danish hydrographic office. Comment on Admiralty charts is they look and feel like UKHO charts, but noted you have all the data on Aqua map.

Hi,Faroes are part of the Denmark and so the marine charts for them are not included at all; in any case you have a 14 days free trial just to check the quality and the coverage of our charts.Regarding the UK, I confirm that we use the Admiralty charts, the only official charts for the UK. Not sure what you mean with "real thing" but our charts are only from official, trusted, verified sources.Best RegardsAqua Map Support Team
