Description
Auqa Temp makes it possible for you to communicate with your heat pump pool heater easily from a local WiFi network(IEEE 802.11b/g standard WiFi network), or remotely over the Internet. Auqa Temp is compatible with heat pump pool heaters that must be with WiFi module that provided by the product suppliers.
With Auqa Temp you can:
- be able to monitor the state of the heat pump pool heater, such as the available hot water volume, the current outlet water temperature, the current running mode, etc.
- be able to set the state of the heat pump pool heater, such as ON/OFF setting, target water temperature setting, mode setting, timer setting, etc.
- be informed of any failures of the heat pump pool heater.
- be provided with considerate service that the suppliers will solve any detected problems of the units in the background before you ask for assistance.

Hit and Miss
When the app is working, it is really good. However
- About 1/5 of the time it seems to have connection problems; showing ‘login failure‘; ‘server down‘, etc… This can be frustrating and made even more annoying when you can’t simply close the app and start again. If you close the app(by swiping up from the iPhone), when you open the app again, the previous issue will still be showing – e.g. spinning circle, login failure etc. do you have to restart your iPhone to read the error and start again.
- The next major frustration is the temperatures and on/off state from the ASHP is not polled frequently. It seems sometimes I can be a delay of up to half an hour or more. I have a Wi-Fi enabled pool pump that polls real time. Not sure what this can’t be the same?
- Sometimes you can switch the ASHP off on the app, and the app shows the ASHP is off, however, the ASHP does not turn off. This happens in reverse also, when you want to turn the ASHP on, the app shows it is on, but the ASHP has not turned on.
- Finally, as others have stated, showing information such as an icon to represent when the air source heat pump is heating, and maybe even what percentage would be really helpful. Another very helpful thing would be for it to show a record/graph of temperatures by time and date. This would help with planning went to run the air source heat pump.
Basic need’s energy consumption feature
Basic app sometimes less is more had a few off line errors but closed app and reopened sorted that.
The 1 biggest feature it need is energy consumption even my basic smart plugs have this feature. Come on app developers can’t be to hard to add this.
Useful app
This is a useful app that basically replicates the control panel of the pool heat pump. I have been using it for 3 months now and have had no problems with it. It is helpful to be able to easily monitor the temperature of the water and to adjust settings.
My main request for an update is that the app currently only allows you to set one on/off cycle per day, whereas our heat pump has two cycles. It would be good to be able to see and adjust both in the app.
