Basyl is your smart money companion - an app that helps you stay on top of your spending, get financially literate and achieve your personal goals. For building wealth, there is one simple rule: You need to make more than you spend. However, executing on that simple rule is not always so easy in times when the cost of living is only ever going up. We strongly believe that the first step towards financial freedom is visibility and engagement - which is why we have built Basyl to help you build healthy habits around your money: Know what you're spending and how much you can spend. Set attainable goals and track your progress towards them.
Basyl offers a rich feature set to support you on your journey to truly owning your money:
* Track your everyday expenses, fixed cost and savings powered by our intuitive UX to turn a menial chore into a satisfying habit!
* Set up saving goals and watch your progress before you put down large amounts on a whim.
* Configure recurring transactions to avoid repetitive tracking of rent, salary payments, utility bills, subscription fees or monthly savings.
* Gain valuable insights into your spending behaviour and available budget through a multitude of diagrams and statistics
* Keep tracking while abroad: Basyl supports automatic conversion for 31 currencies.
* Manage your data as you wish: Create custom categories, vendors, and tags to define your view on your money.
* Strong data protection: We won't ask for access to your bank accounts. The only data we store is what you consciously put into the app.
* Fully functional while offline: Basyl does not require an internet connection to work. You can track your expenses whenever you need to, and we will take care of synchronising your changes once you are back online.
* No surprises thanks to a comprehensive view of your upcoming transactions for the current month (or week).
* More to come: Basyl is in active development and we are working on numerous cool new features that will be released as soon as they meet our quality standards!

* Fixed a bug that caused recurring transactions not to be instantiated when the current month has fewer days (e.g. 30th doesn't work in Feb)
