For £1.49 this is a great app if you need to send an email with a load of small pics on it, though it will not overtake the likes of FREE DropBox for sending very large documents. It's quick and easy. I made the mistake of highlighting the document file I wanted the pics to go to instead of opening it, which meant hundreds of photo's landed on the desktop and I couldn't stop it. Reduced 239 large jpeg photo's - around 1.4GB doc to 25mb, in 65 seconds (phenominal), and if you want just thumbnails (custom) then would probably reduce further. Great app, especially if you put a lot of photo's on the web or Flickr.
Not Good

Unfortunately I'm going to echo what others have said.Pros: Very user friendly, very easy to resize lots of images in little timeCons: Ruins the pictures really, stretches them in all directions. No option to keep the same dimensions.
Not even worth the £1.99!

batchRESIZE v1.33 must have been written by people who have no idea about Aspect Ratio when it comes to rescaling photos. You have three options for resizing: 4:3, 16:9 and Custom. The first two options have drop down boxes where you can set the resolution (e.g. 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768 etc within the selected aspect ratio). I don't know about you but my extensive collection of photos (over 10,000 taken with a variety of Canon EOS cameras) contains any aspect ratio under the sun but not many of them fall into the neat TV-size model of 4:3 or 16:9. Most of my pictures are 3888 x 2592 which is 4.5 :3 or 13.5 :9.The third option, Custom, is another dead loss. Here you specify the width and height to resize to, the assumption being that you know the resolution of all images in the folder (as you can only convert a whole folder at a time, not selected photos) and you have calculated the new dimensions. No option to retain the aspect ratio is available so that you could simply specify the width or height only and let the app work out the rest. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and left the height blank - you never know, this may have been the default behaviour and it's simply not documented. Alas, that wasn't the case although it left me wondering as it still went through the source folder, beeping each time it finished each photo, only to produce a blank destination folder! Zero for error trapping, reporting and field validation!Looking at the sales pitch above, v1.33 was justified as an upgrade because:* preferences submenu added* Edit submenu deletedThe preferences menu only brings up an interface colour picker which you can only close by clicking on 'Save'. In the previous version this was done by the Edit menu!I will be waiting for the 'lifetime' upgrades to make the product usable...
