It’s ok, just needs some polishing.

For example, you can only set temperature alarms from a predefined list. While you can add to that list, it makes ad-hoc adjustments near impossible as you’ll end up with a massive list.

Also, it needs an iPad build. Desperately. It’ll only work on your phone.

Using with an Inkbird IBT-6XS.

Great value Bluetooth thermometer, the hardware works very well, & the app is ‘decent’. If you don’t want to spend as much as a meater, seriously get one of these.

What stops a 5 star review? Firstly, being able to export a csv file of your temperature data would be incredibly useful to identify & better understanding things such as meat stall, etc, & I can’t see why it would be a difficult thing to implement. Secondly, the app retains the old screen resolution & doesn’t fill the screens of newer devices. Yes, it’s superficial, but it’s such a simple fix after years of bigger screens I don’t think it’s an unreasonable ask!

The app is simple and clear - just what you want connectivity works well and temp monitoring is efficient. I’m disappointed that the chart of temp over time is so basic. Unfortunately with the unit set to C, the y axis only goes up to about 140C. Given that almost everything needs 180C or above the line showing the temp is always off the top of the chart. I’ve not found any way to adjust this with is a real pain. Especially as one of the uses I have for the device is to check the consistency of my oven!! Hoping a future update will solve this. Once that’s done this will be kore like 4*.
