Beatwave - Music Made Easy 4+

Fantastic app but.....

Love this app...so much I’m willing to purchase the full content because it’s a simple, easy music maker to use.
However...the glitches and bugs on it are seriously bad. Half the time you can’t even post music to the wall (I’ve never been able to) and it often doesn’t record without weird random glitch sounds popping up and loops repeating themselves randomly that you can’t do anything about. I’ve had to delete music I’ve spent months working on because of this.
Often samples just disappear on their own too as the app crashes and doesn’t recognise they are saved.....and generally crashes as it can’t cope with anything too complex.
No one ever replies in customer service either so nothing ever gets resolved. It’s beyond frustrating

Edit:: thanks for the response, but no good directing me to customer support...one replies in support. I’ve sent several messages and have been waiting over a year.

The Change

A number of years ago, around 2014, I downloaded this app to my iPad mini. It was extremely good and I made several albums worth of music. A few years later I downloaded it onto my phone and had fun with some new instruments that has been added.

However, recently there appears to have been a change. I deleted the app to get space and redownloaded it. I now have just found out I cannot access my songs or even begin to see whether or not the app will have stored them without paying a subscription. Yes it’s a small amount but before you didn’t have this Great Wall in front of you. You paid for each instrument directly and there were a number of good starter pack instruments.

The app is now deceptive because it says it is free but it actually is not because I have to pay for something literally to unlock EVERYTHING else. This is essentially ripping customers off who thought it was free directly.

Please change this. I personally believe it was perfect the way it was.

Hey, I’d love to give this a glowing review. I thought the previous version was fantastic, it was a massive part of my creative tool set, I created so much with it and still use it. This version however feels lacking, the effects are somewhat limited and the interface is confusing as I was used to the previous version. It will take some getting used to and adjusting my workflow slightly. Having to slide from one screen to another to make the adjusts I could do on one interface in the previous version is quite annoying but I’m using this on my 8plus the design might be a little different on an iPad. The worst thing is the weekly subscription, at almost £8 per week! If this app was more ideal, I’d have considered paying out more for a one time full access to everything. No subscriptions please! Sorry guys, v.2 was excellent - more like that please!
