Big Finish have been producing Doctor Who audio plays for nearly 20 years

These are the original actors playing Doctors 4 through 11 , sadly minus 10. Not everyone is a winner but there's a lot of good stuff here. Doctor 8 only got the TV movie and the Night of the Doctor mini episode but here Paul McGann shines and brings to life a Doctor we barely knew.

But it's not just Dr Who. They've resurrected a lot of old cult TV.

For me, the Blake's 7 stuff is one of the highlights but they've done good work with sapphire and steel, survivors, the prisoner and many more. Recently they've turned their attention to the mid 80s show Star Cops and the visual effects have never looked better 😉

The app works well. Sadly, no in app purchase but that's understandable given Apple policy. Fortunately the website is excellent and a great way to explore the ranger of material available there's usually a freebie or two on their site and regular sales of the older parts of their catalogue. The first 100 dr who stories are currently only £2.99 each.

I have recently purchased 7 audio books and it's staking a long time for them to download I am still waiting 4 downloading after 2 days of purchasing this will be the 3 day, I've paid good money for these audiobooks and I can't even listen to them I should be allowed to listen to them immediately after purchasing them, you should not have to download them at all you should be allowed to go into the app and listen to them, also when they are downloaded I can only get half the audiobook, I would have loved this served if the audiobook had downloaded and I was able to get my money's worth but sadly because I'm still waiting for 4 downloads after 2 days and now on to the 3rd day I'm not very pleased and also not happy when they are to download and only getting half to listen to I give this 2 stars this should be updated and we should not have to download our punches, we would get them as soon as we pay for them.

The app is generally good, and it is certainly the best way to listen to downloadable content, as sometimes I have found that there are small gaps between files when playing stuff through an MP3 player.. There are three improvements, which I would suggest could be made, however. Firstly, if you are blind or visually impaired and use VoiceOver, then direct touch should be disabled on default. Secondly, I find that sometimes as purchased content doesn’t appear straight away and you have to sign out and log back in before it appears. Thirdly, it would be good if it is possible to stream content rather than download it.
