Great idea weakly executed

It links in with your council based on your postcode and provides useful information and updates regarding waste disposal and local recycling. However, it doesn’t remember your postcode and you have to enter it every time you want to check bin collection days (the main reason I would use the app).

You have to manually enter bin reminders (making it no different from setting an alarm or reminder on my phone) - it does not fetch the information from the bin collection calendar automatically.

The formatting for bin collection calendars did not fit on the page (this is the same for North Down and Ards Council website, so might be a problem there rather than the app per se).

The interface is dated and clunky as well, but there are the makings of a great and very useful app here.

Yay WCAG compliance!

For two years people have been asking that you make the smallest change and remember the laat postcode entered (shockingly people don’t move house every couple of weeks).

You can still make updates. But this simplest of requests? Nah, we’ll ignore those requests and instead get full WCAG compliance. Oh how we’ve longed for that one…

Don’t waste your time

Stupid app which doesn’t work - developers never reply to assist you. Notifications work one day and then not again for months on end - don’t rely on it to remind you when to take bin out or, like myself, you will miss multiple collections. When you click the “when is my next collection” option it takes you to the internet webpage of your local council, pointless really having the app then isn’t it?
