Brushstroke 4+

As a digital artist my quest for apps that can help my projects is endless. I have come across Brushstroke numerous times, but put off by the price tag and the fact there is no trial version, I moved on... Now that I eventually succumbed I curse myself for not having done so ages ago. It would have saved me more than a few pennies and considerable disappointment. The app is brilliantly designed to offer dozens of unique painting styles which can be further tweaked, re-worked and blended with fabulous colour/effect combinations to the user’s heart content. The result is always both technically and aesthetically perfect. The illustration add on is also worth having. My suggestion to the developers is they should consider a try-before-you-buy option so nobody loses out!

I’ve been using this app for a few years and simply it’s amazing. The search stops here, no need to look for better. I support the developer by buying the upgrades, always adding great value. Seriously you’ll not find better than this amazing app.

This is a good little app but there are a few little bugs that need to be looked at.

I am using an iPhone 8+ with iOS16.

Sometimes, I don’t want to add any paint effects. I just want to frame a photo.
When I turn the paint slider to 0, it just stays at 50%?
Instead of having to go to the paint effect panel, how about, just allowing us to bypass this section and go straight to the frame section.
Essentially, the slider function on all the paint effects, is broken. It only seems to understand the 50% value.
This is a bug and needs to be fixed.

And the other feature that would be nice, is to allow us to add a signature image.
Writing a signature with one’s finger, is quite difficult, but it would be great, if we could browse our photo album and choose an image signature. Maybe allow us to crop & resize it, inside the app, as well.
I did send a report to the technical support team, but they advised me to use the iPad Pro version.
I don’t have an iPad, so this is a pointless reply.

Please fix and update the iPhone version.
