Buddywatch - Watch Faces 4+

I first downloaded this as a bookmark on my Home Screen and loved it, so I was really pleased to see it now as an app. I’ve tweaked a few watch faces myself, but being able to easily download shared watch faces from other people is excellent.

I cannot deny that this is a very good app… But those using it should remember that it it is us and our willingness to share the Apple Watch faces we create on the app that enables them to then make money out of us in return for our own creations! It would be great to receive a reply from the developers when I ask a question in a review I post on the App Store. The ability to also include whichever loop or band we think goes best with the face we’ve created would be fantastic. I wear mostly Sport Bands with my Apple Watch Series 6 44mm so I can combine the halves from two different Sport Bands which exactly complement the face I have created, for example half of a blue Sport Band with half of a Barbie pink Sport Band when the face I’ve created combines those two colours, this looks amazing on my wrist!

Just a couple of clarifications.
First, we do NOT make money from faces uploaded by users. It’s all free and subscription and in-app purchases are for features not related to watch face downloads. You can always use the app at its best without paying a dollar. It’s a community based app, everyone share his own creations for the community. Let me repeat again, we DO NOT make money from this.

Second, we replied to your question on the previous review here on App Store, so don’t know what you mean but we’ll be more than happy to reply to any other questions if you contact us on support@buddywatch.app.

About the bands, we’re working on many features and some of them require time to be developed at them best, we always prefer a little wait than a buggy app.

I’d normally never leave a review on something like this, it’s a great app! All of my current watch faces are from Buddywatch and it’s a brilliant way to find new ones. However, I have been disappointed with both the quality (and rarity) of a watch face for the Apple Watch Series 3. I understand and appreciate that it is a community project, and I am very new (three days) so have never personally contributed.

I hope in future there is a search bar to find certain types of watch face or specific creators. Maybe even filters on the homepage so you can find watch faces for certain kinds of watch.

I hope to see these features at some point, no hard feelings if not, it’s still an awesome idea!
