"Fantastic... Super-simple, pixel-perfect, great music and sound." -
"Canabalt is pure genius."
Escape the destruction of your city with just one button! The game that popularized the infinite runner genre is back with new game modes and support for every dang phone and tablet thingy!

"This "daring escape" platformer is simply beautiful and beautifully simple." -Kotaku

"It's going to be quite some time before you find something so simple so thrilling again." -Offworld

"Canabalt is actually much more intense than you'd assume of a game which requires a single finger to play." -GameSpy

Play any of the 8 new game modes with one or two players, dash across rooftops with four different runners, or just chase that high score in the classic futile race for survival.

"It's all very lovely and full of poignant subtext. And awesomeness. Canabalt is a prime example of a simple idea executed extremely well." -JayIsGames

"I have never seen a concept so richly and successfully realized in such a simple yet stunningly complete form. Canabalt represents the power and potential of small independent games."

"Music is another component that is just perfect - it enhances the strange and unsettling setting of the game and also gives a sense of speed with a hint of hope that quick feet might be the salvation to the horror."

It's brilliant

It is very fun even though after a long time it gets a bit boring but other than that it defiantly entertains you! It's the only game I have on my phone!

Update for iPhone X and Up?

I utterly adore both Canabalt and Hundreds on iOS, I really do. However both games desperately need a very simple update for users of iPhone X and up.

Please note that I’m not necessarily asking for the game to be displayed across the entire screen space of Apple’s latest iPhones like you did with Heist (although that would be even better), however so many really cool games that haven’t been updated in the last couple years now PERMANENTLY display the time, network/WiFi reception strength and battery details on the side of the screen on iPhone X and newer. Yes, even WHILE IN GAME. There’s just no way to manually hide these details at the users end and it’s incredibly annoying and immersion breaking.

I’ve spoken to several other devs, and apparently all it takes is swinging a very straightforward update over to Apple HQ, and a few days later, Hey Presto, it’s all sorted. It really would mean the world to your real fans with iPhone X and up.

Right now, I’m giving just three stars, but I will gladly bump my rating straight back up to the five stars the actual game deserves and submit a fresh review if this gets sorted. In the meantime, I’ll be keeping my fingers firmly crossed. Thanks for listening <3

Serious props to devs like UsTwo, Simogo, Amanita, Playdead and many, many more who have listened to fan feedback and fixed this issue! Thank you! :)

Lordsmiff ,

Everyone should have this!

You have to give some serious props to a dev that updates an eight year old game to 64-bit...seriously...thanks!

I play this regularly when I have a couple of minutes to kill and it's great...there's always another try to go further but then you die at the first window and think you can't leave it there...
