Battle anything from across the universe! Let King Arthur wield Excalibur against Thor and mighty Mjolnir; set a T-Rex loose on an African Elephant; or pair up Einstein with a Zombie to take on a Pug, a Hamburger, and the Charter of the United Nations. Yes, this game will take you places you never intended to go.

Of course like all good TCG and CCG games the concept is simple to understand, but it's the layers of preparation, strategy and devious tactics against your opponent that make all the difference.

Cards, the Universe and Everything, CUE Cards for short, is designed for the ever-curious with a taste for the absurd. Each glorious card is brimming with fascinating nuggets of knowledge, facts and trivia. For example did you know Manatees use flatulence to stay buoyant or that African Pygmy Hedgehogs like to cover themselves in spit when they smell something new? (If you did then give yourself a gold star, but with over 4000 cards already, the chances are you won’t know everything… yet.)

When we say everything in the universe we mean it, sure we might be a few trillion trillion things off completely fulfilling our promise, but we’re getting there. There’s an ever-growing collection of cards covering anything and everything; Space Travel, Dinosaurs, Nebulae, Greek, Roman and Norse mythology, Samurai, the Honey Badger, the Sun, Leonardo Da Vinci, Elephants, Celestial Objects, Kings and Queens, Bugs, Sharks, and so much more across Science, Technology, Arts & Culture, Natural History, Paleontology and History.

Gather together a collection of your favourite things, build an all conquering deck and then duel it out against other players from around the world in thrilling arenas. Combine cards to creative crazy combos like Quantum Leap and Ace of Spies, Gently beating your opponent into submission to gain famous victories and shoot up the leaderboard and leagues.

CUE Cards is packed full of features including:

What’s New

Version 2.11.0

In this latest release we’re embarking on our first multilingual journey, starting with a Portuguese translation of the game that goes live with this update (that’s right around the corner)! We’ve also cracked a matchmaking bug where players would face the same player consistently and tidied up a few UI bugs.

Great but small tweaks needed

I think the game is great I’ve been playing it for months almost every day. Afew things do bother me about the game but they are little such as when your spending gems on a card you make it so you can’t see the effect and at times I feel like I’ve wasted my gems on a card I may not have wanted. This is the same on the packs they feel misleading about what you get such as the octopus pack I spent 200 gems I saved and didn’t get any rare card which seems abit unfair. Also sometimes it feels like a big difference between the deck of paying and non paying members. And the thing that is really meh is the wheel of rewards always picks cards you have there definitely needs a way to work to collect cards you actually want. Like a card shop. It sounds like I don’t like the game ahah but I really do 😊 oh and also when the task asks you to beat people with a pure deck it’s really hard sometimes. Can you change it to beat with at least 15 cards in a deck for instance?

Add a wish list

This game is addictive and fun, the gameplay is simple enough to learn quickly but has enough elements to be challenging and require lots of strategy. I have only had the game for a few days and I already love it. But one thing I think would be really useful is a wish list, so if someone is offering a card, you could check their wish list and give them cards they want, rather than cards they just don’t have. I guess favourites kind of helps but not many people use it like that, so a simple wish list would really help.

Fun but oh so frustrating

I loved this game for the first month or so finding the best combo’s, seeing what works best and learning off the community that have been there for a long time. But that’s just the problem. The matchmaking does not take into account league position and time played. I won’t take away, this game is fun but when I’m only 2 months in and can’t yet obtain some of the ridiculously good cards - Ultra-fusions for example it really does hinder how many games you can win. I appreciate there is a trading aspect but being new I don’t have the other good cards you need to trade to gain these Ultra-fusions.

All I believe this game needs is better matchmaking so I’m not in rank 17 coming up against top 100s. Also an easier way to obtain limited ‘exclusive’ cards that only a select few appear to have and dominate me with them.

Thank you for taking the time to review CUE and provide helpfully and constructive feedback. It's both appreciate and useful to us.
