Almost great...

The way this app handles raw is better than photo as you can choose if you wish to export raw or jpeg to the editor of your choice without having to first save to the files app to select a jpeg.

However the problem for me is that when you import raw+jpeg it only previews its own rendering of the raw file which although quite good, matters to an Olympus user like myself as I value Olympus colours in their jpegs.

You have to export a jpeg to another app to see its colours not got for viewing and pruning pics. I like download everything the choose which raw and which jpegs to keep before copying to back up storage.
(If you like Cascable raw rendering you can keep it in a jpeg by exporting while the editing window is open.)

I would like to see the flowing options then I would be glad to pay the asking price:

1: Choice between switching view to the jpeg or raw file while pics open and also in library view.
Only showing raw means all jpegs must be exported to see their colours.

2: Choice of which to delete, the raw/jpeg or both.
It’s annoying that you have to delete both and really slows down pruning in workflow.

3: Probably can’t do this one due to apple restrictions, but it would be great in have the option to transfer pics over the apple camera usb 3.0 cable as the WiFi on Olympus is very very slow and power draining when it comes to all those raw flies. Meaning time wasted and having to carry an extra battery.

Amazing app

I’m not one for writing reviews, in fact this may be my first on the App Store, but I felt obliged to express just how good this app is. I haven’t used it extensively yet, but so far its been exactly what I was after. I have recently purchased a Nikon Z6 and was in the market for a remote shutter release. I quickly stumbled across the issue of not being able to have a cable in the camera whilst using an L bracket with the camera in portrait orientation. It became clear that my only option was to go wireless. I tried using SnapBridge, but it didn’t tick all of the boxes. There is no bulb mode option for one, meaning no exposures longer than 30 seconds.

Compared to what I was going to spend on a remote shutter release, the price of this app is a steal. I would’ve gladly paid for it if it only served as a means of firing the shutter, and the fact that it does so much more is a bonus. The ND filter calculations option and the fact that you can transfer RAW files straight to your phone as a temporary back up in the field to name a just a couple.

It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making this by the developers, and for that I say thank you and well done!

Amazing app Must Have!

Rarely I find an app so well made.
The user interface is really simple and well thought.
The connection is very stable and fast, with a Z7 have an impressive speed compared to SnapBridge.
For basic tethering and preview to customers it work as a charm just by a cable to connect a TV to you iPad and you have the best mobile setup! Please continue to focus on the tethering capability to show the pictures to customer. Would be nice to have a more sofisticate view for the external monitor that can show multiple picture. Like a grid view with the last 6 pictures and when it is new a preview full screen for n seconds and than back to the grid.

Thank you to the development team. Please continue to improve the app and maintain it. Would be very nice to add augmented reality in the live view. For example determine on the picture the depth of field.
