I made a booking online. I downloaded the app assuming I could add the booking and maybe book classes or something. I got the app. Clicked booking and instead of the usual import booking or sign into account it just says message centre. No messages. Wow. Then I wanted to update my password. I have everything saved through Apples keychain. So I’m just copying it from there. When I tried to use their other app that lets me log in, I can log in through the browser but the app says the email doesn’t even exist when I’m literally looking at that account on my laptop. Whoever codes this should not be working here. Do better.

The app doesn’t let you add your booking in and doesn’t let you filter searches by date so when booking in advance you need to scroll through all the previous dates to get to yours for every treatment which gets tedious. The app doesn’t allow you to make multiple appointments in the same time slot so when booking for yourself and a partner or friend you are forced to either book different timed appointments and then wait around or do what we ended up doing which is downloading the app on two separate devices so we could book treatments for the same time slot. They should also allow you to filter for the gender of the therapist as it isn’t always obvious from the name.

I wanted to use a gift certificate so went onto the main website which indicated to use the app for City Spa bookings. I went through the booking process on the app and entered my gift card details. The app then charged me for the full amount. No email confirmation was provided. I called the main call centre and after 20mins on hold was told you have to call the spa directly if there were any issues with booking on the app because they are on a different system.
