Bad UX

An improvement on the previous app but still glitchy and massively unfriendly user experience.

Some things that could be changed:

- temperatures don't need the scroll selection thing- it doesn't fit in the screen of a standard iPhone X (not sure about other versions) and takes ages (do you need the decimal?) so to record a temperature requires loads of tapping/scrolling the screen, takes ages.
- If multiple temps are needed couldn't they all be in the same form so they can all be put in more quickly? Do temps each individually need to be signed off?
- when you input data it would be helpful if it then automatically jumped to the next item rather than having to click on each one to input data. If one's phone is running slow this takes ages and can fail to record what you've put down.

Might sound pedantic but half the time I wonder if it's worth what we pay for FoodAlert. User Experience is also the difference between staff inputting proactively or being resistant to the system. So a yet more intuitive interface would be welcome.

Buggy and hard to use

Guys, if you see how much you charge your customers, you can not afford have so many issues with this app, it should be perfect. On my iPhone 11 Pro Max - what is still a fast and perfect phone in 2023 - I had so man problems, and now using a 15 Pro Max all these problems gone. And we are talking about a - not user friendly - frontend interface for a database software, not about a AAA game.
Also, if you charge your customers so much, the app and the web surface should help your job and must be click and drag, fast experience, not a “have one more training to know how to do it”. Imagine, what are you doing it is like when you come to eat in one of our restaurants, someone would charge you a Michelin-star tasting meal price and you have to go in the kitchen to do your sandwich from average ingredients. I started in IT long time ago, moved to catering, and still don’t understand why companies expecting restaurant staff to do that job what these “partner” companies should do.

Better than the last?

Meant to be better than the last one but it’s so slow and not user friendly.

I hit yes I have done something and it take 20 seconds to actually respond.

Rubbish!
